Any skins that got redeemd in illegal way will be removed from the account and if someone use that code he will be banned..

what i dont understand is,if you activated a skin code like a month ago,will they remove it from your account? or will they just remove these skins wich get activated from now on?

They will deactivate the codes, they won't remove the skin.

They arent banning anybody, or taking the skins away that you already redeemed. They will simply just deactivate all of the existing codes that are out there so they will not be redeemable anymore.

i m sorry but it was about time to happen. I was starting getting sick of the 1000$ black alistars and the 500$ CS rivens and PAX TFs. And lets not forget that these codes were taken illegitimately on 99% of them.

I have no idea of how these sites Riot is talking about they got their other codes, but I'm pretty sure Black Alistar, which was sold for $900-$1000 was obtained trought cracking/exploiting stuff. There was absolutely no way an solid amount of people actually kept these codes back when they were released in 2009 when you could have pre-ordered the game.
As I recall, 1 person has started selling Black Alistar on eBay, then all the small business/legit skin sites had it. Everyone. Explain this.

Most likely. People on Reddit actually tought an insider from Riot was actually generating these skin codes and then selling them on these sites or even worse, actually making a site and generating the codes for yourself to sell.
