Socketing talismans with free item danger?!?

Seems like there have been some reports of TQ confiscating people talismans that where socket with free items.
Is that true or is just some lame guy that doesnt have anything better to do but mess with us or was probably hacked, and since TQ changed the bonus quests they might have added a way to detect if a free item was used. Did anyone used free items since the changes? and keept their talismans?

BTW TQ screwed the bonus equipment quest and you can do them again even if you had done them before the changes.

well i did it with no problem.. the servers just came back up from an unscheduled maintance though so im not sure if it still works...

It's been patched. Since they did not update the game client, it must mean that socketing talismans has been moved to the server.

I don't have 5bot. But I am guessing that it is no longer working either. A user of 5bot will have to let us know.

it problably doesn't work on 5bot anymore either... I don't have it to test but....i can safely assume it doesn't.

no bot can do anything for that now , coz simply they moved the check to the server side "" if the item ID you put contains Free then do nothing if not continue the progress "" , and any bot based on dealing with the client not the server , so no bot can do it anymore ,, the question is why TQ ddnt use that system from the beginning ,is it true that they partners or having money to give the bot maker a way to market their Bot ??

I hope there will be something to safe up money again in anyway.. i was waiting till saturday to have items unlocked, wich is to late now.. only got 6k progress out of it, a real bummer.

Well i hope it somehow can be fixed, or another great hack comes again, because this surely was something good, lol. .. .. .. just to bad i was to late with it, only because some greedy friend rather kept it for himself.
