[RELEASE] 9Disciples ndreg.xrg AutoUpdater
 

Well, some time before I made [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] guide. I stopped playing 9Dragons so I've not been here for a pretty long time. Now I see that some people PMd me asking for updates on ndreg, or that they don't fully understand my guide, so now that I've time to spend on, I've made an AutoUpdater.


1. What do you need.

a) I made this AutoUpdater in Java because it's what I've been using for a while so you can't run it if you don't have JRE, you can download it for free [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]. Don't download it if you already have Java instaled on your computer. It's only 11MB so if you downloaded 9Dragons it won't be a big problem.

b) Of course, you need the AutoUpdate, attached to this topic.


2. How to patch.

a) Go to your D9 folder.
b) Rename the official ndreg from ndreg.xrg to oldndreg.xrg.
c) Extract ndregAutoUpdater.jar into D9 folder.
d) Double-click it.

e) It should have generated ndreg.xrg
f) It's done!


3. What to do when new update comes to D9 once you have already patched it.

g) Go to your D9 folder.

h) Delete ndreg.xrg.

i) Rename your ndreg from oldndreg.xrg to ndreg.xrg.

j) Update D9.

k) Go to step a).


4. Credits.

actually i wanna ask how to install 9d deciple installer ask pw:(

when i try to extract the file it keeps saying "access is denied" and "cannot create file" or "no file to extract"

nevermind it's extracting now. made a silly mistake lol. but it's not making the new ndreg.xrg file =\

The ndreg you are renaming have to be the official one, not the previously patched one

i can even update the game to the current version i think im stuck on v28.. i open launcher to update and it gives me an error, can u upload a clean working ndreg and ndluacnher for me to make a secesful update? and btw ur thing works find,good job mate!

Can someone upload 42 patch ndreg? o.O My java has broken a long time ago. -____- Cant even unistall. :/

thanks for the ndreg but when i log in game few sec later i get an error thats says
Winner/D9/DATA/MR_BASEMODEL.XP/bla blab la missing.... idk what to do and i think its a problem in the ndreg or somthing couse my cilent is fine.

its not generating!! :(

The ndreg has nothing to do with that kind of errors, all it saves is client version, server IP and information about your options ingame like viewing monsters hp. It must be from your client so you should reinstall D9.

EDIT: I made a new version, it shows up errors when something is wrong

how u solve it, i cant generrate nrdeg, i made officil oldndreg, and i put auto updater in the d9 file, i wont generate

i reinstalled.and it still says cannot create ndreg.xrg.

You have to put de autoupdater and oldndreg in the same folder.

This is the reason of the error "Cannot create ndreg.xrg"

Seems you are not giving permision to the program to create the file, try running as admin.

it doesnt have that option. can you send me modified ndreg?

i recomend using swets update tool

downloaded it but it has 2 folders in it not the same as your spoiler and i have nothin to open those files in the folders with

There aren't any folders in any of the attachments, and you don't have to open any file. Really, I don't know wtf you are saying.

The next release of 9Disciple will no longer use "localhost-9d" for the status and login server. Instead it will use the standard localhost loopback address.

This is a heads up if you want to update your AutoUpdate program to use "localhost" instead and release it after I release next 9Disciple.

Soon noob's dont need to lie and say that have edit'd host, when they havent :D Since now u dont need to Edit host, since the New 9disciple dont require localhost-d9 Since the new NDreg that will come out when new 9disciple is out will just make some kind of a reloophost o.O or wtf saweet was talking about.. and that make 9disciple work just by edit ndreg^^ so you dont need to digg into ur Win and Sys Files x)
