[Release] Monster.sdata + 71-72 map

i have seen alot of this. But this one i know works. mabe not what all have but this is my own made of the maps..
want to inject all mobs. just del all you have (in my file) and just add the one's you don't have. about the maps. you need client too. this is just the sv.maps edited to how i my self want them. hard :-) adding obelix too for the bosses. remeber this is just my way of making it. i have not seen anyone else that have them. but you need the texure files for your client.. txt and wld files are also in it.. (for client) hope this works for you.. files is in .rar |

please do. this has ALOT of mobs in them. and this is self made so might be a litle not normal. but this is the best dungy i have atm (working on 73 and 74 too) so i wanted it hard. and a party dungy.. not a solo place..

actuly when i used cmove its didnt send me there and i am using the Data from the korean client ? i think i have a problem

you need to add the mobs (monster.sdata) to your own monster.sdata
what you do is: del all the mobs that you already have in your monster.sdata in your client. open your monster.sdata and import the one in my files (with all the mobs you already have delited from it) and import the new monster.sdata back in to your client. run the sql you get from shtool and restart you client. now they should be in there |

But the Sv.map monster dosent match with the monster.sdata! in Sv.map are monsters with 4... in sdata 2939-2991 |

sorry wrong mob file :-( but you mabe need to change it to your mobs. when you import it make new mobid on them. mabe need to change it anyway if you want your old drop table to work.. need to say thanks to castor for helping me add new mobs. thanks to the one that has the monster.sdata out here too. don't remeber who that was sorry. and thanks to [ADM]Wind for the map 74 (Dimensions Crack) patch |
Ok... so I've taken all these files (the correct ones, I hope, after reading through the whole topic) and placed them in the correct places within my server's/client's files. I've imported the .wld and .txt files into my client. I've replaced my map.ini and obelisk.ini with the ones you gave here. I've imported your monster.sdata into my client and ran the SQL script...
Then when I /cmove 71, I port to the nearest town. What have I done wrong here? I've gone over it all like 4 times and haven't been able to figure it out. Feeling kind of stupid and useless atm... =/ Any help would be appreciated. I can't help but feel like it's something else in the DB I'm missing, but just can't figure out what it is. I just know it's gonna be something stupidly simple... If anyone has any ideas, I'm all ears. T.T Thanks! |
missing dungeon files ^^ the wld files are only a piece of them.
btw. the sv.maps are not correct the mob areas are wrong to many mobs on the same place. |
Yeah, I saw that about the mobs when I checked it out in ShStudio. Figured it was just an incorrect map size.
So some pieces of the puzzle are missing? That's depressing, I was really looking forward to getting these dungeons open. Oh well, the search continues! Thanks for the help. =) |
Actually, other than using an updated client to ensure all the proper files, other than the svmap's, this is exactly what I used to open my dungeons.
Yes, the mobs are quite concentrated, and not in the exact positions according to OS specs, however, after adding the mobs into your database and properly defining each field, the mobs no longer nearly as clustered. If nothing else, it does add a basic foundation at which one can build the map contents to their own liking. |
the problem I have with this is no mobs at all in those dugneons. I look on shstudio and see its trying to spawn mobs with ID over 4000 which kinda blows since my version of the database which i got from bane (god bless him for putting it up) only goes to less than 3000.
anyone have the database files where the mobs are included or can give me the codes? I am trying to add them manually but that is not going to good since I dont know their stats. If anyone could just give me their stats too I could make something work and grateful! I have same problem with Kanos I have golems alters and bosses but not any mobs inside the "rooms" the bosses are in. |

@Phantomangel - You say that when you /cmove you just port to the same map, correct? It could be that your ps_game.exe is not actually loading the other maps. I see you said something about obelisk.ini, but nothing about map.ini. Do you have the proper settings for the 2 new maps? If you do, is your Map Count correct? Count the number of "[SET_ZONE_#]"'s in your map.ini, and see if it matches the top setting to "MapCount=#".
If it doesn't, I'll see if I can help more. |
Tnelis hit most of what I could think of. But just to stress again, because I often forget to update it myself, be sure to check your map count in the map.ini after adding these svmap files to your Map folder.
Without updating it to account for the 2 new maps, it simply will not load them. Also, it was mentioned earlier, but once you have it loading the maps properly, be aware that unless you have a different database set up than most, you will need to enter the correct mob ID's into the svmap's. As it is currently, they are all ID's 4K+, most of us will have these mobs as 2900+ Also, be sure to enter the data into your Mobs table, otherwise, you will still be missing mobs; and/or they will be clustered in groups, non-attacking, and/or non-moving. I know some of this was already stated, if not all of it, but for some it stands to be re-stated, if this is their first experience adding new maps and mobs. It can get quite frustrating when you miss the simple things just by sheer over sight or over thinking. Most commonly, your Map.ini should read a map count of 73, unless you also have the ROTCO map, or any other maps not set by default install. Lastly, once you do have them working, be forewarned, you will need to set correct coordinates to avoid lights using the /town command or skill and ending up behind the portal curtain for fury in the Jungle. Much tweaking to be done, but these files will get you there. |
hmm map 71 and 72 is ok. but i now have some that don't come up with an icon. and if you put in in a map it's white.
anyone have the mob icon's or know what i can use or do? drawing isn't my thing i guess. but if i have to i just have to do it.. i hjave problems with: lava zone bear,bloody bear and warrior. It is in your own database. Just look at the Mobs table in GameDefs
or run this query and save the results in to a .csv Code:

i think. we should just make ppl that normaly answer to mabe don't answer ppl in the same topic about the same question. after 2 ambe 3 times. the topic's goes to 50 pages and stuff and become impossible to look at. (i did read about 1000) pages here before i even posted one thing. and i'm still not done looking at all of them hahah

Haha i agree.. but then Poor Bane would have to deal with cleaning up hundreds of new threads each day from people asking the same questions over and over.. :S

Install a test server and grab the EP4 DB for it, then get your mobs from that database and insert them into the EP5 one?
thats all you can do i think.. I would give you my ep4 mob db table, but it's all customised and has some ep5's in it anyways, so would be no good to you, sorry. |
Oh i see now what you're asking for.. the newest mobs arnt in any database.. you need to add the data for those yourself.. i think you're referring to the new RotCO mobs/bosses.
All you can do is make them up yourself i think, atleast thats what i did. |
