first thing i would check is the network adapter since its a vmware image and you most likely are just copying and pasting so i would start there.. i bet the ip doesnt even match your sub address or is even on you local network.

reno124 04/14/2012 21:36

please make steps so ican fallow idont get ur point :D
sorry!

ihatehacks 04/15/2012 16:30

channellist & loginlist are 127.0.0.1? sounds like your not doing something right.

what are you doing? public or hamachi server?

CROvic 04/15/2012 19:06

well if you are not running a dedicated server or did the non hamachi tutorial
you need use hamachi

PyrexiaStudios 04/15/2012 19:20

In Vmware, select properties of the server
Select Network Adapter
Set the following

[*]Check "Connected"[*]Check "Connect at power on"[*]Check "Bridged: Connected directly to the physical network"

Start the virtual server
Once loaded to go:

Start => Control Panel => Network Connections => RIGHT CLICK "Network Connections" and select "EXPLORE"

Select Local Area Connection (NOT 2!)
Right Click on Local Area Connection => Select "Properties"
In the tab "General" select "Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)
Click "Properties"

In the tab "General"
Check:
[*]Obtain an IP address automatically[*]Obtain DNS server address automatically

Click "Ok"
Click "Ok again"

Still in the "Network Connections"
Right Click on Local Area Connection and select "Repair"
now windows will delete and re-cache all settings and repair the network connection

Don't use hamachi, hamachi is for nubs. If ur using a VM use the IPv4 address of the VM to connect.
