well thats a nice idea but I dont think we need a new thread for this. I guess I could add a comment with the recommened version in the 1st post. and I think in fact the up-to-date versions og agBot are almost evreytime the recommened versions...well sometimes there is a bug in the first 1 or 2 days but it is fixed by rev6 quickly

i agree 2.4.1 is still the best to use... i tried 2.4.4 the agbot closes after 2mins... then i switched back to 2.4.1 i made 50% on botting on 5hrs then dc >.<

The thing I am not understanding is why doesn't rev6 test out their stuff before using, its like they "assume" its going to work, and if they don't get a shi7load of emails of people complaining then it works.... like Guild Storage on new relase, usually when you make something new you think they would test it and make sure it works? Also, is agDev team going to add Guild storage codes and option in to new release? Just curious.

well the team itself has no time to test their bot in detail...they really are busy with programming allthe stuff and I´m not complaining about the buggy versions whichare released sometimes because I know that they put hell of a lot of time into it. So they rely on the bug reports users send them

Ohh I am not in any way complaining either, I just think that to make their image better, the should at least give some thought to 15 mins of testing to make sure a new function works.

A few issue with the stall where reported already, no major issue with the loop yet, if you have an error please report it. The npc interaction is my main concern for now on this test update.

agBot2.4.4.zip, the new script system is added, the on level up is disabled there was still a few issue with the last test. The stall should now be working with the NPC price (Sell-Buy). The old script are compatible with the new script, but please upgrade to the new script format (Level072.lst). {NPC name} is replaced by the npc ID so use the {npc name} from now on. A "cast buff" "cast item" will be added inside the script since it was massively requested should be done saturday and sunday this weekend with the on level up script and we will also add newer script for the store in guild storage which currently doesn't work.
The command "store gold","1000000","" will store gold in storage if you have more then the value specified in 2nd field, all the extra money will be stored in storage.

If anyone has a NPC error using this newer version please contact us to let us know, there shouldn't be any npc error with this new system well I hope.

Mass Mods there news section in agBot says everything and im using the newest version of agBot and I have no problems with loops. And no problems with anything else since I read the news and can read what is currently disabled and or not working and ignore trying to use it. I have not been d/c since I upgraded. If your a prem user then I would understand being d/c might be the problem but if your not then d/c can just be because your server is full and sometimes random people get booted to make room for prem users.

I don't see how No-DC for them is possible when there have been no updates server side and everyone is having the same problem. agBot closes after loop, and guild storage function, non functioning.

I hate to say it but lets say you manufacture cars for a living, wouldn't you at least make sure it drives before selling it? In this case its like having a brand new car that runs great and you just had a CD player installed, at least test it and make sure it works before giving it to the customer driving off the lot.

I think its appropriate for criticism in this case because I am an avid agBot user, I support them by purchasing and donations, I think its in my place to give feedback and thoughts as to the bot that I use, I am saying these things because maybe they will put 5 mins more thought in to the testing phase of their work, hopefully it is taken the right way, I want to see agBot last a long time, and hopefully they do this because it would be a shame to see them lose a great image they have.

U forget that nobody has to pay for agbot so they dont have no remorse concerning that ;)

I know NeDra the maker of agBot. It is hard to test a program to the point of near no bug he is one person.. agBot is only one person. Rev6 is a team a team that helps him on his IRC to answer questions. He reads almost 100% of every email that comes in and its more effective to have 200+ people test something then 1 person. I have him on MSN and he is always working on fixing agBot in every waking spare min of his day. He is also in university so that is another factor. He is only 23. You should be thanking him for the time he spends making a free bot for us to use.

I pay for RedConnector wich is a part of agBot one way or another, and donations I think merits me like a silk buyer on SRO, without him getting donations, how would he have time for any of it?

And I have thanked him in my guides and tutorials, I have sent him emails every time I see something not working right, $hit, I do my best and help users on these boards when something isin't working right and you know that, he responds so he does have great service to his users but in the aspect of having one of his friends on IRC test it since he doesn't have time would make more sense than to give it to hundreds and have him look like an idiot (saying this in a non offensive way) for releasing something that he says works when it doesn't work at all.... You show me agBot 2.4.3 working with loops with guild storage and I will do a backflip. I would not call that a bug, I would call it carelessness on the makers part. I do my best to help people out with the bot also I use it more than anyone I know, so I know what to look for when it doesn't work the way it should. I am no maker of this bot but I have made counter-strike hacks before and I know that before using it you need to be certain all the offsets are correct otherwise you look at a ban.

What part of test update is hard to read?

He has on his page 2 downloads of agBot the latest(test 2.4.4) and the latest(stable 2.4.2). 2.4.3 has been removed and thus brings us to why 2.4.4 is up there.

As for redConnector if you paid for that then you must be happy with how it is.

I just dont like seeing people complaining about something they are not forced to use in any way. Also how Rev6 wish to share there program stable or not is up to you the user to choose to work with it or move along.

Of course I am happy with agBot and RedConnector overall I just think that releasing something that doesn't work is a bad idea. When have I ever said anything negative about agBot? I have done nothing but boast, I don't see you complaining about me boasting, or posting in reference to it, but when it comes down to me saying my thoughts on this release you go nuts on me, I understand it is going to have bugs, but this buggy, why bother releasing it for use? Why not just stick to 2.4.2 or 2.4.1 everyone I know of has had the problem with 2.4.3 looping and using guild storage, agBot closes after loop every time for everyone I have talked to that uses that version.

I am saying stop talking about 2.4.3 it does not exist anymore....

I am using the latest 2.4.4 and loops work perfect if you update your script to the new system that was added.

Hey, I am one of those greedy pigs..... lol.... I am looking in to buying another machine to run 100 bots total, maybe even more depending if I get quad core or not.

We all have to admit that without gold bots we would be struggling to get that ohh so sweet sosun set you want that is 2 bil, how would you get it without the help of goldbots, keep that in mind.

anyway its your way of "getting" things.. all i want is to be 51 to get my cool combo.. sigh how can i make it if there is 300 bots in my spot.. so sad.. SRO is a cool game but.. i cant enjoy it,,,anyway have fun to those gold botters.. just a reminder your playing with real people too...and they have rights too enjoy the game too which you stripped off..hope there would be NO KS GOLDBOTS.. or there should be an area for gold botters only ...

I got problems with AgBot
When i try to use Agbot with a china char (Imbue), i dont works, Agbot can find the imbue what i use :( is this because i dont updated the imbue or something else?

Make sure you have nothing set in the skill bot section, and try re-adding your imbue skill, make sure it is imbue that you are trying to add otherwise you will have problems.

From what I hear 2.4.4 is the latest and stable working version, I have been using 2.4.1 because it works great for me.

In response to the comments about goldbotters, if people are that avid about trying to get in game, I suggest buying a premium, if you can't afford one, go collect some cans and cash them in and setup a paypal account. Joymax has made it clear that only premium members will gain explicit access to servers during busy times. Which is why I purchase one for half of my bots, No-DC maximizing gold farming and SP farming :)

uhmm ... can i ask something cant you do something so its only only you gold botters will benefit from the game?? can u think of us players too?? so we can level our characters without your gold bots ksing us crazy??

Regular players do benefit from goldbotters because they need gold, who do they go to? The ones the have the most. Its like real world scenario, whoever has the most money is the most powerful, that should tell you something.

I'm getting sooooooooooooooooo many DC, I got all good, I tried nuconnector70, tried Sr proxy, tried olders agbot.exe, lot of fixes, and still get DC.. dunno wtf is it.

2º:agbot (tried lot of versions,latest,fixes,lot of versions...)
3º: the tool that autotype the imagecode.
4º: autoclick that press the connect button every 30 seconds to join the fcking Gaia.
5º: testosterone loader.

no idea wtf is wrong, I left PC trying to log on server, I join after 40 min or more, I START bot ( no loops, justgrinding bot), and I get DC after 5 or 10 minutes playing.

It's not and video card error, or a windows mesage error, it's a sro DC msg.

with the other nuconnector, an older one, I dont get dc but as it's unsafe i dont use it :(

4) replace sro_client.exe with the one from the 1.158 No-DC client

(make sure to rename the original sro_client first ie. rename it to sro_client.old or sro_client.1.158)

some how my agbot just closes and when I check my nuconnecter it connect like 1000 times to sro loader its 1 huge list of connections all the same saying altherned sro client.
first 5min bot is doing well but when I do alt+tab to other stuff it just closes after a while :S I tried alooooooot diff agbot versions/reinstalled sro/ diff nuconnecters wtf is this!

one solution....or you let agbot in top...or...go in taskmanager/procesess/agbot.exe and set realtime priority
this f. must work...for me work awesome...and yeah...i guess you have slow pc like me...and if you alttab youre bot will be little in past like in game....try this and then alt tab to bot and look on hp...you will see there some damn strange^^;)

well, i have to admit that i`ve been out of silkroad comunity for awhile, and now, when i`m trying to restart my botting culture, i see that agbot won`t loop because of an error. Something like it can`t find NPC`s in hotan. Really, i didn`t read all the replies *there are tons of*, and i was wondering if there is one kind man that can help me with the latest working bot, nu conector and... a working script maker. Am i asking too much ?

My friend seems to be having an issue with the AgBot not appearing. He has already tried using BOTH library files installer and the new AgInstaller to fix the problem. Neither worked (He's using windows xp) So I still tried to have him run as an administrator and it failed and gave him this strange error

If anyone can assist or know a way to help me out it would be appreciated. Thanks.
