hab es hinbekommen, hab nur die CHS.pak gelöscht, Vista umgestellt , neustart + die versionInfo_Aion.ini abgeändert 3x3 eingetragen & schreibgeschützt fertig danke leute :)

da musst du die region wählen.

i keep getting a gameguard error after i do everything that has been said in this thread.

my computer is set to English US, and i have the ENU folder and enu.pak in the L10N folder.

When i launch from desktop it gives me a gameguard error in symbols. Help please?

What is the number in the error description?.. They are all numbered..like 111 or 114..

gah. how can everyone get it to work but me?

i installed chinese aion to the default folder.
i started it and chose a region, then patched it.
i launched it so the gameguard patched up completely.
i downloaded the enu.pak, and placed it in the L10N folder.
I am already in English (US) regional settings.
Then i edited the version info ini to all 3's.
Then i made the version info ini read only.
Then i launched the patcher and clicked start game, and thats where my problem is.
The gameguard error 111 appears and the game closes. Help, please?
The current thread about the gameguard error does not help at all.

and this method don't works:

1. Change all your OS languages into non-chinese languages.
2. Delete the CHS folder and the CHS.pak in AION/L10N (make a backup if you want to.)
3. Copy the ENU.pak into the L10N folder
4. Open versionINFO_AION.ini in your AION-Folder
5. Make it look like that:
[UpdInfo]
CurrentVersion=3
SeparateStatus=3
UpdaterVersion=3
6. Start the shortcut on your desktop and enjoy!

well i managed to figure something out.

Install the chinese client.

Place the ENU.pak file in the L10N folder, DO NOTHING ELSE IN IT.

Start the patcher and select the second option (if this is the first time you have opened the patcher.) Then let the game patch until it finishes.

DO NOT TOUCH THE VERSIONINFO INI!!! Leave it alone.

Start the game from the patcher and let gameguard patch up. Then, the game should open and work fine in english.

*Make sure your regional settings are English (US) before INSTALLING the game.

wait, do you mean with this, that there should be just the enu.pak in the folder? should the chs.pak and the chs folder be deleted?

it works for me but there is a small problem. Is it just me or i can't seem to get any drop from monster, not even quest item. I tried to delete everything in L1ON folder and let the client updated everything again but still had the same problem. Is it me or it's the server?

this has been answered many times. you signed up under a chinese ID under the age of 18. It stops you from gaining experience of quest items after 6 hours.

go back an add an ADULT chinese ID to your account, or create a new account and use an adult chinese id.

how can i solve gameguard error 220? i only read about 111 and 114 so how to solve 220? running aion on windows xp 32bit

Error 220 isn't that easy to fix, it tells you something about sending .erl files to a mail adress. At leas i think that its what it does say~~

ich wollte das nochmal klar stellen lassen und zwar das mit der versionInfo_AION.ini ändern und im l2n ordner das ENU.pak einfügen macht man doch bei der china version oder nicht

und was hat das nun mit der englischen version auf sich ???

damn it patching the game takes ages longer then ive downloaded whole game >_<

if its stuck whgile patching press the big button and then when it stopped again. Sometimes the patcher seems to get stuck...

and please sb help solving gameguard error 220 :(

no patching not stucking its just downloading too SLOW

so use the manual patches ...

did you change the ini file to 333? if yes undo it and start shortcut again helped for me!

2.install chinese client 0.9.5
3.take ENU.pak into the L10N folder(and don't do anyting)
4.start to update the game, and u got the full engllish client for OBT...
5.login in and enjoyXDXDXD

would be nice if it worked like this but there is still error 220 haunting me...

I im using windows xp so mhm Start> Control pannel >Date,Time languge and region settings > Region and Language options > there selected English USA (there is no english US only English USA but i gues its the same) since this didnt work also changed the unicode to english still not working. Im getting real despreate... Error 220 is coming straight from hell..
