Hi guys, i want to check in local darkplanet source but i have same problem of other guys.
All works in home page but when i switch on emu and try to log in map i can t.
Infinite "estabilishing connection" and nothing appear.
Someone know how to solve this problem?

Seems like you did a lot.. Anyways..

I always said that i don't have any problem helping anyone to learn programming, that doesn't mean "code an awesome PET for your server". It means that if you do your part of the 'job' like learn the basics of programming like conditionals, loops, etc... I (and I'm sure that a lot of people here) can help you to get into this world.

Just don't expect to code an awesome 3D server without the knownledge of what a socket is for example..

Actually situation:
I have donated for give all source pve in darkplanet server.
Owner tell me: when u donate process is automatically: download start and u have password for .rar.
Conclusions: i have donate but no password recived. SO don t donate at this server, because owner try to steal you.

Hello, How would one go about adding portals to the spacemap via the db the code i see doesn't really explain much as the spacemap gives one set of cords in the db its a different type

That's JSON, use something like http://jsoneditoronline.org/ to edit it easily.

If the emulator is properly coded to interact with that JSON just edit the values as you want and update them in the database.

I can from the image you show tell you, that the jquery/javascript has not been initialized properly.


You will need to look through it with the chrome element inspector.

Check javascript Shop.Parameters.

hey all,

firstly how comes half the posts here are missing yesterday i see pages 215 now they gone,

secondly I have a little issue my files i have (slightly edited) have all of a sudden refuses to load spacemap even though my emulator says users connected 1(ME) but still no dice it just keeps saying establishing connection all i have changed in maps.php is the server url to 127.0.0.1 localhost and even tried a separate computer to connect and still nothing I have tried brand new db, emulator and files (redownloaded) I know i have it setup correctly because I was able to connect to the emulator yesterday then all of a sudden map dont load can someone help because this is a bit confusing the spacemap just shows the green bar for ages but nothing


Please help

me and my friends are at work for a new pve server.
Soon we put it online but we have only 1 problems.
If players experience is > 2.000.000.000 he can t log in map.
I m sure is a emulator problem, but i don t understand what is parameter for exp.

Assuming that int is 4 bytes (and I guess that you're using int to store the experience) the max range of that variable is 2,147,483,647.
You have 2 options, make it unsigned to double its range or change the experience variable from int to long.

thanks for help, but in database the variable is bigint(255) so a lot of billions.
If I change Convert.ToInt32 in emulator it s says error. So i don t know what variable i need to change.

On the maps table of the database you'll see a section named NPCS in that section use the following code with the ship id from the ships table

pretty easy to do (trial and error)


Suggestion: I suggest (from experience) to have the maps table in one browser tab and the ships in another tab and just add the Ship as npc and then try it out in the spacemap it what I was doing till my server sudden died rofl (well not open map) but any other help I can give message me here or even PM me and I'll reply as soon as possible
