If you are getting "Login failed,please bla bla bla"
delete your old sm.txt(in the new sm the file is sm.txt.txt)
So if you have sm.txt from an old version of sm ,DELETE IT!

works best if u run at 800x600 and tune down the appearance of ur desktop remove any wallpapers,change to windows classic theme and remove anything that would take up video memory

this will reduce lag

This will reduce your video memory not the LAG!
use CFosSpeed for the lag

If you didnt read the readme file of cFosSeed you wouldnt know how to set it up :rolleyes:

i have 96 MB of vid RAM. onboard card :cry: but im still running 2 clients

change the res to 800x600 and u can run unless u have a crappier vid card than me :D

if u have a decent cpu (1.6ghz up) & at least 1gb+ ram, then it all comes down to ur video card

both my pc has arnd same specs, but 1 has a 256mb video card, while the other has a 128mb video card, & the result:

i can run 4 clients on the 256mb video card pc for a indefinite amount of time, even if i exit out of 1 client later, i can still re-open a new client w/o it giving me a "out of video memory" error

i can ony run 2 clients on the 128mb video card pc for a indefinite amount of time (if i dont mess w/ it too much), if i exit out of the clients later & try to run 2 clients again, i can only run 1 client & the 2nd will give me a "out of video memory" error, then i would have to restart pc to clear up the video memory again.

i've tried ozzie's speed-x thing, but the longer i ran it, the slower/laggier my clients got, so it's pretty useless in my case (fyi...i've also tried many other ram optimizing programs & they all result in the same thing, a slower/laggier pc in the end)

so...yes, get a good video card if u want more clients :)

Shemgawapo is the founder. It is a video problem I have when I try and boot more than one sro client.

a bit late.. What i did was quit SRO, download the alchemy filter and put that in bot folder. Working perfect now :) Thanks Shemgwapo again :F

i have the same problem. I have srobot 1.62 softmod 1.97 alpha 2 and indian patch and when i press on finger start, then the sro_client stop loading at 18860 KB RAM.
Trial Reset doesn't work. My firewall doesn't ask me for any access to internet by sro.

I have 1 Gig ram
CPU 3.00 Ghz

And video card is 128 mb
I can run 1 client :P
When I run 2 clients it gives video memory error,

Im trying to set sro on the lowest settings. Maybe I can run 2, that would be great :)

Guys i download those sro files, and i used isro 62 but im getting the "cant create file transfer manager" error, what should i do?

Oh i see well heres my specs 2.6ghz processor 2gb ram and 512mb sapphire x1950 i can run max of four clients before it gets al deformed on the char models and when it ports it dcs dunno why even with /mini

Sometimes i tryied to use 2 iSro on the same pc......

But if i put them at 800x640, when my char return back in the city, it doesnt work with the npcs.

So it doesnt repair my weapon, buy potion......

Maybe try this, Put your graphic quality on low for everything on your bot acc. (But don't change the resolution to 800x640.)

On your other account (Staller, Handgrinding?) do the same with graphics but play on 800x640 resolution.
