The server is NOT a VPS (Virtual private server). It is a physical server with a 100 Mbit connection.
Apparently is xampp NOT builded for having that many connections at once.
And in the last 20 days has your playing on the server used 669.20 Gigabyte of it's unlimited bandwidth.

669.20 Gigabytes on 20 days, thats a lot and it should be understandable that xampp is choking in it.

So.. Why are you using xampp? Maybe we can't play for like 6 hours until it's done, but I don't know... I think it's worth.

In fact (-> IMDB's) the best one is memSQL bc of its 100% compatibility to mySQL databases. The problem is: it's not freeware, but I'm really sure there is a trail-version.

Just made some performance fixes. the game is really smooth now, and it will restart every 60 minutes. It'll run 24/7 if nothing bad happens. Have fun..
