suddenly all skills, NPC names, class info, etc. changed to Chinese language in my OOG since yesterday.

I have upgraded my L2infoB.dat using EN version but it change nothing..

i'm playing on Official Indonesia Server using OOG 10.9.8 vpnbot's and L2Forwarder with protocolversion changed to 268...

what should I do?

I have a few questions for you.
I'm making a program that has something to do with files in Lineage2 system folder.

As in English client files, names are itemname-e.dat, skillname-e.dat, etc.
And for Thai client, their names are itemname-th.dat, skillname-th.dat, etc.
Now you get the pattern.

I wonder how your files look like for Indonesian server?
Can someone upload his system folder somewhere so I can get the sample?
When the program is finished I'm sure it will help many people when
that next big update comes.

My IG and OOG got a virus, so I just delete the folder (I think this will solve my problem) and is interested to ask for a new l2walker from my friend, but after I copy from my friend, it doesn't work
I use anti-virus SM *** V, the virus was not detected by it
what i need to do? :confused:

been there done that... i'm using the same version OOG in my laptop, and everything is fine... try to replace the L2infoB.dat to my PC, but only the first run of the OOG is fine, after that the chinese character is overflowing again :eek:
how bout that? any other ideas?

how do you know that your l2forwarder is infected by a virus? cz some oversensitive-antivirus maybe detect it as a virus?

as far as i know, the terrain in lineage2 field type hunting grounds is modified with many "terrain-traps" that will make auto-player stuck on it... and eventually your toons may die by range-attack mob.

in your case, maybe your script auto-DC your toon under that circumstances... maybe...

ganti bahasa di set.ini, mungkin aja punya mu bukan "language=enUS.lng"
yg diganti "[language]" nya aja, "[default]" sama "[country]" jgn

that is bug that happen to l2walker after high five and there is no fix for it now
u can try to use attack range 100 in policy tab
it help me to solve this problem

It seems the people who made L2Walker are lazy to update their program which
is understandable, too many people use their program for free, including me.

Actually I have some ideas that may fix things but cannot be done without access
or contact to bot writers. Like that teleport bug can be fixed using an extra table
in L2InfoB.dat which I'm not sure they will do it soon enough.
I really wish some people will start writing L2 bot in an open-source project that will
really be free of charge unlike that crap L2Divine (free for sometimes before charging
money, to run server, they said).

As a matter of fact. You don't have to use L2WForward anymore if you use vpnbot
package and L2WForward tunneling technic doesn't work anymore these days.

Of course some antivirus will detect programs of this kind as a virus/trojan/malware
that's what they're supposed to do, report that they found something better than
they found nothing. With cheap heuristic scan, tons of false positive are sure to follow.

If you're familiar with Windows programming you will know some system functions like
"LoadLibrary, GetProcAddress, WriteProcessMemory, CreateRemoteThread, etc" when
these API functions are used together in certain orders and combinations especially
in a small .exe or .dll file, Those scanner will detect it as suspicious even if they
don't know it's a virus or not. Didn't even considered run-time packers which always
detected as virus. Shame on you: AVG, Avast and that thing with red umbrella.

I have ESET Smart Security 4 installed and running and I'm writing programs with no
alarms. When people use my program on their PC and have a virus alarm I always
tell them to just uninstall it and change to Microsoft Security Essentials, may not be
on the same level as ESET but at least it's free.

I've tried downloading from vpnbot, but when I installed and tried to run it. appears "file corrupted!. this program has been manipulated and maybe it's infected by a virus or cracked. this file will not work anymore" how to fix it? what should i do?

since i still don't know how, i still use L2forwarder for many programs I used.

I use l2forward to change the protocolversion in OOG and IG. beside that, i use l2forwarder for L2net too (but it still pain in the *ss to use it)... hehe.. for me it doesn't take a pain to launch l2forwarder in the background... :D

my IG is work fine in Hi-5, but it seems can't detect all Hi-5 new skill, just some blank line in skill setting....

My IG and OOG are running right now, but in oog the skill, npc names, item names is screwed up, it only shows boxes, @baddiva and @unrevealer, have you guys find a way to solve this? please help us :)

Language of the OOG program itself can be changed in "Setup-->Language" menu.
Language of information OOG are displaying is in L2InfoB.dat file.
You have to find English version of the file.
The one from vpnbot package is in Chinese, if your PC can't display them...well never mind.

This is what I've been doing for last few weeks, a program to automatically generate
L2InfoB.dat from files in L2 system folder.
I used to make L2Info with that russian l2info_edit program, with lots of mistakes.
I can't find any way to contact it's auther and towalker.com doesn't update their files either.

So I made it. Small, fast, straight to the point. Auto-create a complete dat file from system folder
within 2 minutes, with auto word-wrap, string pooling and all.

I tried to make L2Info out of indo system folder baddiva uploaded.
No problem so far since it's basically the same as English in term of character set.
But using English is a way to go, right?
