changes the mac address in boi to make the server think the client is running on another computer in the house.

this allows you to DL/LM on a single account, lets you multiclient without risking ban (see BoI multiclienting rules) and a couple mroe stuff like that

Sir, the Client ID changer doesn't work, it seems the game still recognized the 2 clients on the same computer. I don't have much knowledge on this but i think it is responding on IPs.

By using the speed hack in the LiveDown bot is it easier to be detected and banned? I like using SH but im worried using it might get me caught easier.

it's actually very hard to detect someone when they're using SH

while you're going really fast on your screen, you're going regular speed on other people's screen. Every 5 seconds the server updates, and if you (on your client) is farther that the other you (on other people's clients) the other you (on other people's clients) will "teleport" to the location where you (on your client) is at.

So basically, it'll seem like your walking regular speed and then teleported quite some distance ahead. Or it will seem like you're disconnecting alot.

I've been using SH since the last two weeks of december, everything's all good here

there is some difference between 'change IP info', and 'change character info' .
also read program description :P if you still cant figure it out for what is ip changer then there is no help for you :P

What file does the BoI Client ID Changer actually change?
It doesn't actually change the MAC address in the network card does it?
Does it change a file, which saved the mac adress? if so why doesn't it cange back to the normal mac address?

When game runs, it reads your mac address and stores it in a variable

What the BoI Client ID changer does is that it finds that variable, types a randomized string in it, and saves the variable

that is all ^^

So when the game uses that variable to compare clients, since the variable is a randomized bunch of strings, it won't have the same value as the other client on your computer

and that's how the ID program works ^^

It seems like spedhack does not work for me - I am running it as administrator, but I still get the message "run this as administrator"
