I been reading this topic with intrest and I have to say, I agree with things like stop noobs getting it

Although now you're probably thinking that I only have like 6 posts, but I don't tend to have much to say really, (I'm not usually very talkative), I have however read these forums for a while mainly just to read what people have too say,I have only ever downloaded one program from here too.

But as I was saying, I agree with people saying about not letting everybody get programs, I have seen people on here before who ask a stupid question like 'where can I get the best botter to get me to 130' - which usually ends up being their first, and last post, when people help they don't thank them or acknowledge their effort, they seem to have an elergic reaction to the search tool.

So I am now beginning to post and try to understand how these programs work. So don't think I'm not making effort >_>

Myself as well.. at the same time, i'd be happy to leave them all behind, so long as the rest of n00bland didn't have access either. Easy ones like multiclient and itemtype/monster.dat I can learn myself. They don't really do much harm.

The game would be more fun if it was played by the majority of the rules.... and if they stopped taking away our PK maps :(

People are always complaining that us noobs dont give anything back to epvpers.com. Well, how are we supposed to do that, we are noobs right? You show me the way to make a new Cotobo ill spend all my time i would normally spend to Co and make one. And btw why else would they make a website like this if they didnt want to share the programs. The people who make the programs arent greedy bastards. Yes, moderation because in mostly foruns people are just "impressed" with some "Warnings" when they should be in that moment banned.

I've already thrown together a version of the new itemtype.dat edited with fix,[r],[u],[e],[s] and named cmd tokens, but I can't see any way to test it until the 11th.

Whit the new patch maybe we cant use hacks for a long time... and the economy in the game changes talking about the gems...

atm a super dragon gem cost about 40KK (in RYEE) and a normal dragon cost 200K

with the new patch i think that the prices of normal gems come more expenssive, maybe a normal dragon worth in the future 300K or in the best of cases stay in 200K.

So with numbers... for have a super dragon with JEWELER you need 255 gems and 950K, each gem 300K...

300K * 225 = 67500000 + 950000 = 68450000 = 68,45KK..... really sucks
and you need a long time for collect 225 gems of the same type...

with 200K:
200K * 225 = 45000000 + 950000 = 45950000 = 45,95KK =( not good price too...

Solution: Is more easy made reborns with an archer for gain a SDG... but what about the other gems ?? (rains and nixs)... yep the economy come to be pure shit.... and we need hold for see the rate of drop gems from the monsters...

PD: How i can desactivate the effets manually ?? (need delete any folder of conquer)... because with all effects activated = LLLLLLAAAAAAAAAGGGGGG

Leechers aren't the problem, everybody leeches whatever they can get, that's reality and people know this when they post programs to share with us. If they didn't want us to use the programs they make, they wouldn't post them. And if someone doesn't have the aptitude to create their own worthy programs to share, I don't think Choco or anyone else holds that against them.

I think the real problem is that this forum freely allows any and all dumbass noob kids on the internet to join up, that's the problem. These dipshits respect nothing, appreciate nothing, value nothing... Half the people here don't even understand fully how to play the game of Conquer, they are noobs and yet they're allowed to just waltz in here and have open access to invaluable programs like Cotobo which they can't begin to truly appreciate.

Personally I couldn't program a VCR without having the instruction manual but as noted, I don't think that's the issue at all. Having a forum full of complete idiots is the issue. From what I've seen here, no self-respecting programmer would dare post his hard work here for these ungrateful morons.

Epvpers obviously isn't going to change the way they do things, they will not acknowledge that their open-door policies for letting any and every idiot join here who wants to, has lowered this place to a status that's hardly above the Conquer forums themselves. If anyone has knowledge of a forum of this type that doesn't allow nor tolerate idiots, noobs and stupid kids that discourage all the respectable participants... I'd appreciate a pm about it. You know when I used to play rs I belonged to a forum called rscheatnet. We had athing called the vet status that only long time productive members could get. Even had a vet fourm that only vets could access. Mabye we here need something like this. But... from my experience the games usally win. After all there the ones making the money and the really good bot makers get tired of updating there work untill thay all move off to new things. Thats how rscheatnet went down for the count. Too many ppl dont try to learn how to bot and soon no more will exist. Then this site will go down like all the others. To stop this we need more ppl to try and learn a thing or two about botting and we need to true botmakers to be more open with there source code so others can learn how to do and update what they did. Whats the point in keeping things like COtobo and COpartner's source code hiden. Especially if they dont plain on continuing there work on it. At least pass it on to a person you trust to continue your work in your stead. We need to work together more and not against one another if we are to keep this site alive. I myself and learning VB now to hopefully make some bots for this community as I did for rscheatnet. I see alot of flaming on this site thats not necessary. Everyone forgets that they at some time was a noob and knew nothing about making bots. Thay had to learn and at sometime I'm sure they leached too. STOP being so hatefull to noobs and more understanding. Be helpfull, correct them of there mistakes. Dont call them a noob and start cussing them out. Ppl here are so stuffed by there own superiority that they forget whats really important. The noobs are what keep this site alive. Nobody on this site is gonna stick around forever. Everybody moves on to new things. If we didn't have new members joining, eventually there be no one left. So to sum things up, do on to others as you would have others do on to you.
