Season 2 - Chaos Control is finally here!
Today we bring you some new things, among others bugfixes as well that will, hopefully, make your game more interesting, easier and pleasant. Let's get to the point right away, so here's the list:

Updated EXP Curve

• Below you will find the updated EXP curve starting with the old one on the top and the new one on the bottom. As you can see, we have smoothed out the curve for you and made the scaling a bit more natural. Doesn't the look of it make you want to jump head-first into adventure and level up some?
  
  Note: Most of the experience values required to level up beyond Lv77 have been reduced. Players that have over-capped EXP as a result of this have their EXP set to 95% of their current level.

Celebrate the Strong

• The season's top scorers' performance will be eternalized on these statues for everyone to see.
• The rankings will be displayed on our website as well, so give it your best shot to become the Number One in future seasons!
• A floating, gm-like, sign will be displayed above season's best player character (until the end of the next season).

Primal Law

• WoM2's new and exclusive battle royale style event will be implemented with this update! Can you be the sole survivor? Are you the top of the food chain? Prove it! We will hold the event every 2 weeks and there's something worth fighting for for everyone! We will post details on how Primal Law works in a separate post.

Pet System

• Mount skins have been added to the game. Do you wish to pep up your mount's looks? Look no further!
• Do note that these skins are one-time use and changing pet-type or devolving your mount will result in reverting the skin to default.
• A new pet has been added to Jong-Chug's shop as well as the default mount skin in case you wish to reset your mounts skin.
• You have a 3 sec cooldown now to mount after you un-mounted.
• Minor fixes related to pet system.

Shop-related updates

• A new item called Bundle+ has been added. It contains several shop skins to pep up your shop and attract potential customers! (each skin is for single use, effective until you fully close your private shop)

Improvement

• Every type of horse feed now work on all types of horses, however, providing the proper feed will give double points.
• Chat history (messages sent) will be saved until the client instance is closed. Up to 30 messages can be stored.
• "/dice" command has been deactivated.
• Guild tags have been shortened and guild war declaration window had its input limit increased to allow Guild Wars between tagged guilds.
• Ice Witch no longer has a random spawn in Heaven's Lair. She instead resides at her previous usual locale now.
• Liquids and Researcher's Elixir have now an effect icon (left-top).
• Effect icons will no longer overlap nor be overlapped by the target window since they've been limited to 8 icons per line.
• Dragon Soul Stones are now searchable using the Shop Search feature.
• Shop Search has now 4 different colored arrows in order to improve and facilitate searches of desired items.

UI Enhancements, other minor changes

• Refreshed Season Pass quest line and added a new set of costume/hair into Season 2's Season Pass, while the previous Season pass set - Capoeira Set - will be available in Item Shop.
• New quest category styles.
• Bravery Cape has now a visual effect upon using.
• Target board will now show a mob's element (if any) and it's HP percentage.
• Added a new overlay to the mini map.
• A new icon has been added, informing you that an Event is currently taking place. Clicking it will give you information on the event held.
• The dynasty selection window will now tell which dynasty belongs to our former servers, Romania and Eclipse.
• Leftover attributes from some costumes have been removed.
• With the addition of pet skins, Blue Barry is now a skin of Bernie.

Bug Fixes

• Related to guilds, an issue where guild leaders couldn't declare and/or accept guild wars due to too long guild names are now solved (more about guild names change and/or possibility to get rid of tags planned in the closer future). You can register now for upcoming Tournament!
• An issue wherein Ritual of Doom would attack players from the same dynasty without a duel (free-mode as well) instance. This bug was visible only if mounted.
• Lost King's Treasury Map have a Map name displayed in description again.
• Another mount-related bug, where players wouldn't be set in Free PvP mode even if they were attacking someone from the same dynasty.
• Monsters can not get stuck in safe zone anymore.
• Nation War Ranking Board flags have been scaled up to fit in the window.
• Old Lady's full skill reset won't happen if the player does not have enough inventory space to receive the Book of Combat Arts.
• Removed the small lag from a successful Grand Master Skill training.
• Soul Stones can no longer be used in dungeons and private instances, due to causing issues.
  Note: This is a temporary solution until we can fix the root cause.
• Fixed hunting quests of the last few players that had them broken.

A Follow Up

This update will be rolled out in two stages, due to Primal Law being a very extensive content update as well as many things happening at the same time. (Christmas Events, Server Merges, Holiday Season) Stage 2 of the Season 2 update will be rolling out later this season bringing you Chaos Metins with a few more minor changes and updates. A post will detail these at a later date. We already did that, we changed the experience requirement curve as can be seen in the Season 2 post. I will post it here again nevertheless:

When everyone say to reset your server, but you refuse to do that for one year, but your server is CLEARLY DEAD. That's how you know that this staff doesn't give a ***** about community. See you this summer with the new server ;)

Also alle die sich wünschen den Serverstart noch einfacher zu haben.
Ich habe vor 2 wochen neu angefangen. von komplett 0 . Und ich konnte mir den Start echt nicht leichter vorstellen. Es ist ein oldschoolserver und deshalb sollte man sich damit auch abfinden, aber dennoch hat der server vorallem an den Punkten gearbeitet, die kritisch zu betrachten waren. Man kann am ersten Tag problemlos ein Kamfgaul haben. Man kann problemlos einsteigen durchs farmen und Geld verdienen, wenn ma sich damit nur beschäftigt



Und dass der Server tot ist stimmt so auch definitiv nicht. Es gibt locker genug aktive Spieler um ins Spiel perfekt reinzukommen. Dass keine 2000+ Spieler online sind sind auch nicht zu erwarten. Aber dennoch sind genug Leute online, dass der Chat immer belebt ist und der Markt sowieso durch die Offline Shops.

Gebt dem Server einfach eine Chance und kritisiert ihn an den Punkten, an denen er kritisiert werden muss. Der Server könnte definitiv mehr Promo gebrauchen, keine Frage. Und noch ein Low-Level-Dungeon wäre auch nicht verkehrt. Aber solange die Kritik Sinn ergibt ist es in Ordnung.

A lot of people are asking for a reset, true. In THIS forum. But these are not our players. The moment I see our players asking for a reset in our forum then it would be considered. You would not expect me to value the oppinions of people who don't play WoM2 above those who do, right?

Also I don't see how a server with 700 players online at peak times can be dead. It's true that it's not the biggest server anymore since a while, but it's still bigger than most. Also if you believe the playercounts of servers like Aeldra or whichever is the server being hyped this month, I have a piece of land in the moon to sell you.

lol wtf server is dead and done. Aledra and rubinum both on top. there is no other p server on their level because they didnt create such crap as you did.

Care to elaborate about which "crap" we did? Did you get banned for hacking or something? Go get butthurt somewhere else kid.

Rubinum the new one is what 1 month old? Aeldra is like 3 or 6 months old? Anybody can open a server, hype it with multiaccounts, fake the playercount and run away with the money after half a year or a year. I keep seeing this over and over and dumbasses like you falling for it (hello Zephi). Come back when they're 5 years old.

Rubinum Server 1 is online für 3 1/2 years now.
You started like 4 servers now and in the end you had to merge them everytime to even get near the half of the peaks of rubinums1 and aeldra. I dont even want to talk about rubinum s2

WoM2 is the only server showing the real player count. Or you really believe Aeldra has 3000 online? If you do, maybe you would be interested in buying an apartment in the moon. I can get you a good price.

Rubinum is based in WoM2. The owner of Rubinum had his main dev join the WoM2 team when he was starting his server so he could get our souce code and also learn how to organize a team from us.

It's very simple kid. Play whatever you want, but there's only one server which has stayed among the top for 5 years. I could be like Zephi or Niar or any other random scammer from epvp, close my server every 6 months and then pretend to be someone else, open it again with a few changes and so on while some stupid kids clap in the background looking at my fake 3k playercount.

Seriously, you know the scene is getting really stupid when people criticise you for keeping your server online.

Man kann Rubinum auch nicht mal Ansatzweise mit WoM2 vergleichen, ganz ehrlich. Aber nichts desto trotz, hat man bei WoM2 einige Fehler gemacht. Gerade damals als der 2. Server raus kam, wo ein kurzer Hype kam und dann ganz schnell der Server immer leerer wurde, einfach weil man einiges verändert hatte..Gegenüber dem 1. Server. (Zumindest hab ich das noch so in Erinnerung. Steinigt mich, falls es nicht so war) dadurch ging S1 komplett down, da eben S2 ein etwas anderes Konzept hatte. Und als dann S2 auch Spieler verlor nach paar Wochen, hatte man einen relativ toten S2 und S1. Dann noch die Sache mit dem Only-Ro Server für die Rumänen. Alles so Dinge, die die Spieler immer wieder gesplittet haben...Soweit ich weiß gibts ja jetzt noch die Fusion von S1 & S2 und den Rumänischen Server...Beide relativ tot, weil man es eben verkackt hat in der Vergangenheit mit den Servern.

Mehrere Server laufen zu lassen, klappt in 99% der Fällen einfach nicht. Vor allem, wenn sie ein anderes Konzept haben.

Selbst bei Rubinum ist jetzt der S1 tot, auch wenn das immer noch keiner wahr haben will...Klar hat S1 noch so seine 1,2k Spieler ca. zu guten Zeiten, aber im Vergleich zu S2 und auch für Rubinum-Verhältnisse, ist der Server einfach tot, Punkt. S1 hat zu den schlechtesten Zeiten einfach nicht mal mehr 500 Spieler on und zu den besten wie angesprochen vllt. 1,2 manchmal 1,3-1,4. Und das wird auch nicht lange dauern, bis da gar keiner mehr ist und nur noch auf S2.

Weil 2 verschiedene Konzepte einfach NIEMALS klappen.

Also Rubinum wird es ähnlich ergehen wie WoM2 glaubt mir mal. S2 wird zwar nicht so floppen, da die Community von Rubinum und diesem Konzept einfach höher ist als von WoM2 oder anderen Servern wie Metin2.Sg aber S1 werden die ganz sicher auch verlieren in den nächsten Monaten.

We only want a new experience on WoM2. Open a new server with particolar things or hardest than first. Give us a new chance on WOM PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
