i repeat myself (no, not to get thanks), but I'm SURE the admins have something to do with it. to sell their "anti-hack-protection". why ultra-accounts? because the more valuable an account is, the more money people spend in safety.

i don't believe it's the bot, the bot crack or any loader. for that only 50 people are way too less. there are about 1000-3000 people who use these files.
besides that, there certainly are more then one good account....since botters do gather a lot of stuff..

would you spend silk on a character that has max level,max equip? no?what would you do? yeah..start another one. same thing with these anti-hack things.

I find the theorie of SilkBotter verry interesting. It could be possible indeed, that the GM´s hack certain people who activly ( doesn't have to be ) buy silk or w/e, and hoping that they will buy the anti-hack so they will get their items back.

So if this theorie would be true, then they are trying to make money by misguiding people .
But on the other hand, it's a bit far-fetched if you ask me..
People could stop playing on their server after they lose a sos or w/e.

they certainly don't care if someone stops playing. there are more then enough people willing to play silkroad on a private server. all "free" servers are crowded.the servers are full. and every new server they open will get as full as the existing ones!

lets presume a player is level max. he reached almost everything, and he doesnt buy silks anymore.
to pull the rest outta his pocket, the admin will just delete his items pretending he was hacked.
now the player will spend money anyway.... 1- he will buy silks,gold or sun equipment(money) and then secure the items (+money) (total: 2x money)
2-he will start a new character and needs silk (money) and maybe some sun items (money). (2xmoney)
3-he will quit playing because he doesn't spend any more money. good for the chinese ones. 1 free spot for a potential NEW silk buyer!

more than 10k people use db-bot (zszc1,zszc2,swsro1,swsro2,mysro,sjsro)

I was just level 100, got some silk and a d10 sos +5 bow.
I went to holiday for 10 days, after that I logged in and everything was gone!

If they dont start to invest in some events, people start to quit the game. They reach the max lvl with all skills, and an hell of set what for? theres no trades, no events no nothing, only a shi* job war full of mercs, and pvp witch is crowded of sos and stupid 3vs1... im not crying because i dont have an sos, in mather of fact im getting glade not having it lol. gm's maybe removing some items to prevent inflation

i know noex said that the authcheck of the sro-db server only gets the charname from that bot, but it seems like only ppl using the old crack for 0.8 are getting hacked.

the 0.8 crack does not remove the connection to the authserver. so maybe there's more than just the charname, that gets send tro the sro-db servers...

in that case their bot was designed as a keylogger right from the begining.

to make realy sure they are NOT able to hack you, you should NOT use cracks released before the 0.9a one by noex.

maybe he should rewrite the old 0.8 crack to remove the authserver connection to the sro-db server.

as you can see the connection to i59F47E8B.versanet.de is still active and the authserver recives some informations about ur account.

if u're using the newer crack for 0.9a that connection will not exist.
you could also use [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...], which removes that check from all bots released by sro-db.

it should be working fine for version 0.8, 0.9 and 0.9a, which are also availble @ that link =). for newer versions some stuff needs to be added, which i'm not able to do.

do NOT ask me if i could crack botversions released after the 0.9a one. i'm not able to do that. all i did was analyzing noexs cracks to be able to build a patcher which does the job for all versions.

i'm gonna change my pw and download db-bot 0.9,crack 0.9 and your loader first thing in the morning :)

anyways i wish i knew more about reversing so i can just decompile the bot i could do some modifications so it runs without any packet sending and fix some major bugs(bot not working on some lvl's,can't use reverse+bot and so on)

dont think its the bot people are using something else which is leading to these hacks been using the bot for ages i have been 1 of the major target of sro-db for using the cracked version and still haven't been hacked as u can see in my signature the title I was given. there are over 2000 people using the bot and only less than 100 hacks so must be something else

you gotta realize that sro-db got a full database of all chars @ all servers.

if they realy implemented such stuff to the bot, they won't waste time and try to hack everyone. you know that login takes a lot of time @ swsro1 or zszc.
they would only hack full sos ppl or ppl with other unique items.

well possible ( but I have full set sox and wep so who knows maybe they just have yet to get to my char or maybe my set just ain't good enough)
