but how to fix powerups to work again? do you know? it doesnt work even after i download the server.rar again and replace the files. after i try to use powerups in cmd it says game dissconnected..

The powerup system is very strict.
Since the server doesn't calculate all the data yet, its stuck on the server default - tied to a default UID and PID.

Do the powerups work, when the server has a default slate? Delete it and unpack it again.
Otherwise, you have to report that in the Server topic..

The ExCeed backup isn't 100% compatible with ServerEditor from Senpai (Berkay).

You probably have "Hide extensions for known file types" turned on in folder settings, that's why it only shows "carslots" and "getpersonainfo" for you, but it still is "carslots.xml" and "getpersonainfo.xml".
If you turn that off in folder settings, you can see and delete the extension.

I'm not sure if it'd be possible, but since this tool logs you in to the server, would it actually be possible to buy and sell cars? I have an account with 1100 cars and I can't log in to it and I'd like to have a backup to it :/

Yes. If you know each BasketID and have enough IGC on your account to buy em...
ExCeed is only missing 1 command URI to do that, but can be added any time without recompile.

It happened! Finally I managed to get into the server and see my cars.

Indeed, this option "Hide extensions for known file types" was On. When I changed to off, I managed to delete .xml and Editor recognized this file.

No. Each Car has a serialNumber attached to it.
This Number is used to sell the car without any security question before.
Selling car doesn't use baskets.

This happens only when you dump banned accounts with "REQ".
Everytime you use "REQ", it dumps output and input to a single file.
Just remove the 3 or more additional lines manually afterwards.
I am not fixing that, it is supposed to do that.

I made "backup" work for public usage and somewhat compatible to the offline server,
so I didn't fix anything else, since it was and is still intended to log/manipulate the server.
Also private use until forced release.

Hey, My problem is that my GetPersonaInfo.xml is blank. Literally it's only a 2 bytes file. I also have GetPersonaBaseFromList.xml, is that the same?? It's 1.17 KB and has my Driver Name and Rank / Motto in there. Help please???

What method did you use? the normal or banned backup?

GetPersonaInfo.xml and GetPersonaBaseFromList.xml do use the same data, but GetPersonaInfo.xml has your own personal data - more elaborate.
Delete the backup (your can zip it beforehand) and follow the included readme step by step.

email, password - connect 1, connect 2
(at tis point userID, PID, and token boxes should have data in it)
- login, make backup, logout.

Try again.

I got a similar problem as the contribution upon me. I need to restore the four banned accounts. I always show the incorrect wrong password or email.

Should it be possible to start the game with this method?

1. run exceed.exe press Connect1 Connect2
2. in cmdline run "nfsw.exe EU token-from-exceed uid-from-exceed"

I tried this and get SERVERERROR_FATAL_ERRORCODE_5

I'm trying to run in with linux using wine
exceed doesn't work in wine, so i run it in virtualbox with XP
(Is the source for exceed available? i need a linux version)

NFSW always worked on wine, but GameLauncher doesn't work anymore (i don't even get a login screen)

Hi, ... firstly, wow!! Thank you so much for all you've put into this. It is awesome and you should be knighted or something.

I have a problem, though. I've looked everywhere and I seem to be the only one. Unless others have been less specific about where / when their fatal code 5 occurs.

Mine happens on launch of the server. Everything starts launching and then stops. Windows acknowledges NFSW-O was working by stating "has stopped... trying to diagnose'' etc
I get fatal code 5 but no reason... all the small CMD windows just stall right there.

As a result I don't even know if I have downloaded my drivers correctly as I can't get the game to run.
I am running Win 8.1 - 64 just like you. What have I done wrong? Please help.

I've altered no paths or anything and don't get any confirmation that the driver I entered into server editor is valid or complete or whatever it's supposed to say.

Will the data downloading data from the server after 7/14? Or will already be offline? Banned ACCOUNTS will be difficult to restore. After 7/14, I will not need this program.

No chance to download data from the banned account.
Trainers may no longer be necessary.
For sure I back up data from all over the NFSW, in a RAR.

How about this one: I'm downloading mine and my family's personas. Mine works fine, one of the others works fine. Third one throws invalid username/password every time I try to click Connect 1. The same account logs in fine on world.needforspeed.com or with the NFSW launcher. Mine will log in properly a second time, even after his doesn't.
And only - what, less then 24 hours until server shutdown? Any hints?

I am dumb, tired and forgot about system languages.
The program assumes European Date 28.06.2015 for creating folders.
If your date is written like this: 6/28/2015, it won't create a folder, thanks to dem slashes.

Updated the readme, cause people tried to use "cheat mode" and used
/nfsw/Engine.svc/DriverPersona/DeletePersona
effectively deleting the selected driver permanently. geez. :rolleyes:


Q & A:
Q: ServerEditor says "cars/carslots" not found.
A: Rename "carslots.xml" to just "carslots".
You may have to fiddle with the windows settings to see the extensions.

Server folder means folder where you have extracted offline server. In there you have also server editor :) All is good with archive :)

But it doesen't extract those Launcher files, or atleast it doesen't appears
in the exceed_release_1-2-10 prog folder and I can't find it anywhere else

It's because Exceed is mainly to backup your driver. You can download server from [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...], or from [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...].

Actually offline server is a must, because it emulates online server. Without it you cannot play offline
