We will be releasing our Unique Automated Donation System after maint on October 19th. This system will allow players to be in complete control of their own donations, from payment to claiming the item/items in game that they want. Almost no need for staff :eek: lol

From Tuesday October 19th we will be changing the way donations are done on FR
what we are implimenting will be more beneficial to ALL players in game and will
also give players more control over their donations.

First thing is the payment.

You are no longer donating for actual items you are donating for BonusPoints
these points can be used in game to buy certain items from the Donation Book NPC

the website buttons will change we have different amounts set up for you
but they will look something like this.

After you have chosen the amount of BonusPoints you want you will be forwarded to your
paypal account after payment is made you will be sent an e-mail

the e-mail will say something like this.

You recently made a donation to Forgotten Realms. You can find the code below to get your donation points.

Donation Code: (computer Generated code will be here)

You can claim your donation by going to (website link will be here)

Click on the link provided in the e-mail and you will be sent to this page.

Once you have filled out the correct information you MUST relog your character, after you
have relogged you will see the points have been awarded to you, your BonusPoint amount can
be seen in the box right above the PP box in your inventory.

Ok so Now you have donated and you have your points.... On to the good part :)

You will need to find the Donation_Book NPC he will be placed in market co ords ( 252, 642 )

Click on the book and it will give you a number of options

So lets say you want a 7th summon stone, you click on the option Summons then on 7th summon stone (20 points)

The npc will take 20 points from you and give you your 7th summon stone.

For items that CANNOT be awarded to you directly, the npc will give you a Token Receipt
they look like this.

The example token receipt is for a personal casual, you will then need to hand the token into
a staff member to have your casual added into game.

The next part of this new donation system is the Token exchanger he will also be placed in market at co ords (258-642) and looks like this

The bonus points you donate for CAN be exchanged into tokens, these tokens can then be sold
on booths for RP's as we will NO longer be taking donations for RP's this will be your only
option (other than collecting) if you actually want some.

You will need to Visit the Token Exchanger to exchange your points into tokens, click
on him for options and amounts that you can exchange.

After you have sold your tokens, the buyer just needs to right click on them and they will go directly into the BonusPoints section of their inventory.
