it is not detected at all, although many guys get detected with it, i saw a few posts of people who dont get detected as me.

hmm could i ask what you use? because i have windows xp 34bit and it gets detected, i also tried the manual one but it got detected as soon as i used a profile. (i did remove the .exe from the s4 league map) Thanks for all the effort ^^

the game is under a maintenance . well when it back there will be anew event or some thing like that so .. u will gonna work on that and try to make a new IM if there any chance ? or we will just get enough with the presently IM even if alot of players already got detected ?!

Without noticing I've been playing s4 with the Item manager running. . . i forgot to uninstall it, yet, idk what I did, but it hasn't been detected yet. O.o Game just shut down, if it doesn't work after it loads up, I'll re edit this post to be more useful. . . other then that, it was working for a while on my windows 7 32-bit. . .

i wasnt here since item manager first show up . but i heard about Nya and h4cor so r those guys with MrSm!th the IM makers ? and where r they now ! they just left MrSm!th alone in this hard work ?? -.-"

It's not because of the IM, it's another alaplaya's fail.
The IM isn't detected, i got banned even when i tried to enter without any hacks._.
It seems they're auto banning every second player >_>

I wish I knew WHY some ppl are detected.. and some aren't...
Because, from what I've seen it's completly random... there's no pattern whatsoever... Several diferent OSs and diferent versions... :\

Could somebody Unistall the game and IM, restart the pc, install the game, apply patches, install the IM AND use gamebooster so only a few other processes are running at the same time as the game/IM, please? It would help... Because for all I've seen, we could be facing another fail detect system like when xcrap started detecting Fraps and MSN and some antivirus... who knows Oo

Edit: From what milkey232 sayed above, it might just be what I stated at the end... It must be some normal/harmeless process that's getting detected as an hack...

The problem isn't IM
 
I was being detected also without IM :D lol! I have effectively noticed that the problem seems to be in the connection mode. Now, i have 3 computers 2 are connected with a router and 1 with a usbkey modem; the pc i have whit the modem that uses a vpn connection is not being detected, the 2 pc whit router will be detected only if i use the "bridged routed" connection mode. So the problem isn't the IM by now. ;)

Sm!th's IM still works fine for me after today's patch, which is good since I prefer his since it doesn't have a memory leak.

I have one question, though, MrSm!th. Is there a reason you don't make your IM anchor and minimize within the S4 window like Ny4m's did? I thought that was a little easier to use and keep track of, but it's not a problem--I was just curious.

There was a bug with that, so yopu could;nt chat or use other buttons then wasd.
So he made it like this.

It's not detected.
It has been proved that what is detected is a deficient connection to the game servers, and THAT is what's causing the bans. (aka It's a bug in xcrap)
It's advised to install VPN, connect directly to the modem/router, turn off any download programs and use gamebooster.

EDIT 1 : Tried the VPN solution , got DC'ed but no error detection... [ gonna try again , wish me luck ]
EDIT 2 : Despite the absence of the Detection Error , the account still got Hacking Trial ,

The reason so many people are getting banned out of the blue is not because of hack using, it happens because the very nice ppl at Alafaila adjusted the xcrap settings to block accounts when it detects an unstable connection to their servers, meaning, if you're using a wireless connection or have a crappy ISP, and you happen to lag, you'll get banned. Laughable isn't it?

So let's try to work around this, shall we?
  1. First of all, if you're accessing the internet trough wireless, please connect directly to your Modem or Router.
  2. Then Download a VPN (Virtual Private Network), like [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] or [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...].
  3. Hotspotshield causes a bit of Lag in game, so, after HGWC finishes loading you might turn it off. This, although, might cause you to be banned in game by latency.
    [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]
  4. So, if your connection is reaaaaallllly an awfull thing, try SecurityKISS. It's less laggy.
  5. Now, after you've run one of this VPNs, you'll want to turn off any Torrent applications or any other programs using up your bandwidth.
  6. And, to be perfectly sure nothing else (aka, some nasty process running in the background) will be bothering your connection, download and install [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...].
  7. Finally I think you're ready to start the game and enjoy a ban free play!

yes because it catches the keystrokes sent to s4 then.
this means you cannot chat or sometimes you cannot move.
i dont know why this only happened to my IM and not to nyams IM, but as long as i cant fix this, the IM is not sticked to s4.
but this is no problem, because the IM is set to the foreground automatically and i will add a hotkey to do this in the next version
