Das lustige ist.. 99% der Leute die hier immer nach Reset schreien, sind dann auch die ersten die wieder aufhören würden - sollte es einen Reset geben. :rollsafe:

Ich habe knapp 4 Jahre gespielt, 3x 105er 2x 96er 1x86er x59er usw usw. Wenn man alles schon 3 mal erreicht hat, machts kein Spaß mehr :)

Für einen Reset von diesem Server würde ich alle anderen Server runterschmeissen :D

bei nem Reset würden wieder paar Tausend Spieler den Server spielen.

Sind 100 mehr als viele andere Server, jeder kennt WoM jeder der WoM kennt weiß das wenn sie bock auf nen Server haben wo nicht alles nach 2 Tagen erreicht ist und nach 2 Wochen gelöscht ist können sie hier hin gehen. WoM2 ist schon lange nicht mehr für den Profit online. Entweder spiel oder lass es, gibt genug andere Server.

Trust me, it won't be fun when you will play WoM2 with one, or maybe two more friends and you will be the only guys online. :facepalm:

Thats literally what i'm doing all day but on my own Server, idc about Player numbers nor do i really care about PvP.

Auch wenn ich derzeit inaktiv bin etwas, bin ich gegen einen Reset da es Leute gibt die wie ich im hochen dreistelligen Bereich dort reingesteckt haben und nun alles weg?

Was bringt dir dein Geld auf einem toten Server? Hättest du nicht lieber einen vollen und aktiven Server? Oder willst du mit deinem tollen EQ allein auf Map1 stehen? Viel Spaß.

That's cute, they think that they can revive de server. They will slowly die together. Oh, excuse me, they are already DEAD. I don't understand why Shogun doesn't want to reset.

Nach mittlerweile mehr als 4 Jahren kann man's echt mal gut sein lassen, der Server hatte seine erfolgreichen Monate/Jahre - das was derzeit noch passiert ist lächerlich und traurig zugleich.

Ne, lasst mal lieber erst die zwei übrigen Server mergen, auf denen sich insgesamt ca 200 Spieler befinden. Am Ende steht man bestimmt nicht vor dem gleichen Problem. :)

I agree. They never respected their players.

It's not about promotion, its about the huge gap between lowlvl and highlvl players. I know the server for a long time and promotion is not needed. The market changed and lowlvl players have it hard to make any money.

I wanted to start that server again, but what i hate the most is, to farm, eventho im more of a pvm player, and not get any money out of it or atleast not fast. Why should i play there when my f.e skillbooks and stones wont be sold at all. All i could see was highlevel players chilling in town.

Its not promotion its the gap, so through farming you cant achive anything as a lowlvl player, because you cant offer relevant items to the majority there. Therefor you have to use the itemshop to sell switchers or whatever, and this is a no go.

A reset would be harsh, but a merge or a new server with promotion and slight adjustments would save your situation right now.
Or you think of a new concept to make the gap smaller so both sides can profit from each other. But the minority would start a server under this circumstances, especially because its concept is leaned alot to the official if you consider leveling or farming. The start is really hard, no mount not anything, so people would first invest alot of time and maybe a little amount of money into the itemshop to get to lvl 35 and make their horse, and what then? Farming metins and afterwards standing in front of their own shop and hope that someone buys atleast 1 item.

This game lives and dies from economy, if there is no economy there will be no players and no future. Otherwise it would be a PVP server where you can set your level to 105 and you do all by yourself without needing any currency or economy or the help of other players.

you can obtain yang very fast, ther is nice guides in forum
and some people ingame can tell you too where to farm and whats the best

each metin is 200k with very bad drop ! and ther is a lot metins
+ changer drop from metin stones

naaga dungeon lvl 45 is worth it too if you can do it solo ( take like 1 month if you are a average player no hardcore player or casher ), upgrade items from desert up to red wood got nice value

for example quartz sand , magic seeds, ice marbles, spider web, spider eyes etc... not hard to farm and have nice value

WoM ist der bessere DE Server - Wenn er denn nur voller wäre. Damals hats wirklich verdammt viel Spaß gemacht, weil sich vieles richtig angefühlt hat, trotz der überwiegend Englischen Sprache, aber das was aus WoM geworden ist (Ich bin echt schockiert) ist wirklich traurig mit anzusehen. Hoffentlich kriegen die noch die Kurve. *Daumen Drück*

eine server fusion wird da auch nicht viel bringen. einfach resetten und ab die post. dann würde ich auch wieder anfangen. aber mit 50 spielern suckt das eher.

Dann würde das Konzept einfach nicht passen. Wer spendet dann noch.

Einen neuen Server mit zukünftigem Update bzw. Fusion aller Server wäre vielleicht angenehmer. So haben nicht alle etwas verloren.

Selbe Prinzip macht DE ja auch und irgendwie funktioniert es.

Ich fände einen WOM Server mit 2008 Like ja geil, der nach und nach dann Updates bringt.

So hätte man DE Feeling und immer etwas zu tun.

Ist doch blöd wenn man frische lv. 35 ist und auf einmal kommt ein 105er und stielt dir für sein Farmer den Platz.

Ich denk damit kriegt man den Großteil der Com wieder dazu, neu anzufangen.

auf wom wird das eher nicht passieren, 105er haben genug zutun mit meleys hort, nemere,razador, earth run, als mit ienem 35er zufarmen und konkurrenz vom low lvl char zu killen

Ist ja schon interessant wie viele nach Reset schreien. Vergessen wird dabei allerdings, dass sehr viele Leute sehr viel Zeit & Geld in den Server investiert haben, ich schätze nicht, dass die begeistert von einem Reset wären.
Wie bereits angesprochen: Neuen Server für die Leute die neu anfangen wollen öffnen und dann fusionieren. Davon hätten neue, sowie alte Spieler etwas - die nicht alles verlieren, woran sie lange gearbeitet haben.

Ich wäre auch für ein Reset, und das Geld was Leute investiert haben würden diese Anteilhaft als Coins erneut bekommen.

Das wäre für mMn. beide Seiten eine gute Lösung :D

Eh.. Genau das gabs damals mit Luna und Sol. Nicht sicher, ob du nicht mitbekommen hast, was passiert ist. Neuer Server neben dem alten aufgemacht, wurde irgendwann leerer weil kein Content und wurde fusioniert.

Das bringt genau gar nichts. Entweder muss WoM KOMPLETT resetten und nur einen Server mit aktuellem Content bringen oder sie bleiben halt ausgestorben.

anstatt eines reset, wäre aber auch die idee einen neuen server aufzumachen für euch alle wo nach reset brüllen/heulen. neuen content usw auf allen servern gleich zu bringen und aber server übergreifende events zu bringen wie Dojang (alle server an einem event gegeneinander), Nation War alle server auf einer map gegeneinander und Guild Turnament auch alle gilden von allen servern gegeneinander. natürlich dort dann sämtliche handel/itemdrop möglichkeiten verhindern.

Stimmt - die ganzen Bugs die man damit einbaut sind sehr leicht zu abusen und können den Server auch sehr leicht komplett down machen. Thought about that?

In Metin klingt alles immer so einfach wenn man drüber redet, frag mal unseren Seemann auf epvp, der nur mit schicken Grafiken blenden kann aber sonst nichts drauf hat außer große Töne spucken.

Was auch immer, das Team von WoM ist zu stur um einzusehen dass die Zeit gekommen ist aufzuwachen und das man mit dem alten Pferd hier nicht mehr weit kommt.

The Johwa Training Grounds have been added to the game!

The Johwa Training Grounds are a government funded combat arena for all residents of Johwa City to hone their skills against their fellow men. You can talk to the Arena Battle Master located on the fighting grounds in Johwa City next to the Archer Guardian and challenge another player or party to battle in ways you've never seen before - and here's how it works:

- Speak with the Arena Battle Master upon which a new window will open, in there, you can declare against which player/party leader you want to fight

- Choose any battle mode and restrictions to your liking, here are your choices:

• Battle Modes:
  • First to # of Kills: You can set a goal number of kills to be reached by either player/party and first to reach the set number of kills wins.
  • Survival (Party Only): You can set the number of rounds to be played and the time limit for each round. Fight until the entire enemy party has been defeated to earn a point. You can not resurrect in this mode.
  • Free for All: All party arrangements are disbanded upon entry and you can fight in a Everyone vs. Everyone style chaotic battle! Every time a player falls, all players that participated in getting the kill earn points depending on their contribution. Lead the scoreboard by the end of the time limit to win!
• Item Restrictions*:
  • No Restrictions: Everything goes!
  • Dojang-style: The same list of items is banned than our renowned Dojang tournament.
  • All Restrictions: Nothing goes! For economically resourceful fighting!

* Do note that healing items are blocked in Free for All mode regardless of item restriction set!

- After your enemy in question has accepted the invitation you (and your party if you have one) will be warped in and the fun begins!

We'll expand this in the future with more maps to choose from and more modes and options.

Guild Wars and Nation War Score Boards have been added to the game!

At the end of each Guild War or Nation War you'll be greeted with a scoreboard displaying how every participant has fared in the contest!
Your statistics will be collected throughout all of the season and the top scorers will find their names eternalized in the rankings!


PvE

The Treasure Hunt has been added to the game!

From this update onward you'll be able to find Treasure Maps by killing monsters in neutral areas, they're exceedingly rare so if you manage to get one make sure to pick it up! The treasure map will point to a location on the map you obtained it from and it's on you to figure out where the alluring X leads to! Once there, prepare your best friends and venture into the Lost King's Treasury.

Inside the treasury you will encounter a badder and meaner version of the local big boss to oppose you. You have 5 minutes before the treasury collapses so make sure you dispatch them quickly! Should your entire party be knocked out or 5 minutes pass without a victory, you'll be sent out of the treasure room and the loot will be lost forever! So not only will your friends in combat serve as valuable forces to beat the heart-pounding DPS check but increase your survivability inside the treasure room.

If you manage to emerge the victor, a gigantic golden chest will await you on the throne awarding you and your friends with various treasures. Give yourself a pat on the back and stay vigilant for when the next treasure map requires your exploration skills to beat!

* Do note that for the time being Giant's Wasteland and Ghost Forest will not drop treasure maps nor offer charts pointing towards them.


Minor Updates and Changes

• The Death Reaper will now drop 4 Death Reaper Chests upon defeat
  • The contents of the Death Reaper chest have been revamped as well
• A new pet, the panda, has been added to the game
• Party Member locations are now displayed on the atlasmap
  • To accomodate this change, the color of party members on the mini and atlasmap has been adjusted
• Day and Night now cycle through the game in servertime
  • You can disable this in the System Options
• New Emotions and Dances have been added to the game
• Several new costumes and hairstyles have been added to the game
• Monsters spawned by the Heavens and Zin Heavens General give reduced EXP now
• The Naaga Lair NPC has received a new model to look more distinct from default guards
• Female Assassins now have a new default outfit
• New water texture
• The success chance of the "Horse Call" skill has been readjusted
• Levelup quests up to Lv20 have been removed.
• Hungry monsters have been removed from Johwa City and replaced with their normal counterparts.
• Weapon drops in low level now have a higher default quality
• Several maps have their map name display overworked
• Improvements were made to Johwa City and Naaga Lair geography
• Naaga mobs now have skills and sounds
• Several new items have been added, including:
  • Blacksmith's Favor: Use after upgrading at a Demon Tower Smith to receive another upgrade attempt.
  • Hermit's Advice has been reintroduced to the game. It doubles the success chance of a skill training.
  • Experimental Wine+: Functionally the same as Experimental Wine but works on Biology Quests up to Level 90

Bug Fixes

• Incorrect OX questions have been corrected
• The item split dialogue now shows 1 as the default number again
• The quest scroll for "Epitome of Misery" will now disappear once the quest has been finished.
• Several nonexistent items have been removed from the shop search
• The texts of some quests has been adjusted to accomodate for NPC availability in Johwa City
• A few improperly blocked areas have been fixed in Johwa City
• Players of different dynasties can no longer marry.
• The Heavens General and Zin Heavens can now use their skills again.

Jeder Admin würde es dankbar annehmen, wenn die Spieler sich einen Reset wünschen würden. Einfachste Methode um wieder schnell $$$ zu machen. Shogun ist wohl zu gut für diese Szene :notsureif:
