I have 2 silly questions.

1 . Do I need a Korean account? Pretty sure I do but just checking :P Cuz when a click new account in the game it sends me to the Korean site.

2 . If so how the hell do I make one???

HAHAHA yes i've noticed that :P I have the client, I downloaded it from here... But for some stupid reason I thought an International account would work -_-

hi ich habe da ein kleines problem . und zwar habe ich die installer datei runtergeladen installiert und es war alles schon in english hab noch das system aus US eingestellt usw. eine versionInfo_aion.ini habe ich z.B nicht imn meinem Aion Folder , usw. und mit ENU war auch schon gemacht. da hab ich gedacht startest mal das spiel so launcher gestartet hat irgendwelche updates gemacht und war fertig so und dann drücke ich auf spielen und bekomme diese GameGuard error 0

ich hoffe mir kann da einer weiterhelfen

natürlich liegts daran, is doch klar das der englische client nicht auf die china server verbindet und wurd hier auch schon oft genug gesagt.

guys when i press that ftp link to download the clinet it asks me for a username and pw! can someone tell me what info should i put to start downloading? i checked the whole topic but i didnt find smth to answer my question!so pls help a bit.

you don't need to download anything from this ftp.

this client is already outdated because the F&F Beta is over, so there will be no new ENU.pak until the next beta is started

Well if there are still people interested in the English Client, you can still download it, without knowing the Loginname and Password ..
Just write down the url into your browser and press Enter twice, if there still is need a loginname and password, to it again (press enter twice) until you are asked if you really want to download the file ;)
The download speed is ok, I´m loading with ~750 KB/s
I think it´s good to test some things out with this Client ;)

umm i can't seem to change the target for the desktop shortcut. i keep getting a "cannot download server info" error message and this is the only thing i haven't tried to fix it. do i just need to copy/paste the posted info into the target box? i've tried several different ways but keep getting a "target not valid" message. any help would be great, cheers!

ok nvm, i changed the target and it accepted the change, but i still got the same error when trying to lauch the client. anyone have any other ideas?

yea im using the chinese client and my error translated is "cannot download server info".

even the chinese client atm as of today, cannot use hte ENU.pak , just keeps downloading the CHS6.pak.zip bullcr**

even following the guide and reinstalling umpteen times , doesn't work.... so unless somethings different from when the guide was written, and today wouldn't the best thing to be, to fix the guide?

You don't delete anything. Just put ENU.pak into your L10N folder and you're set. Remember to change your Regional Format to English (US).
