Player X,Y,Z Cords offsets

Hey,
I have a question, Are player cords server sided or client sided ? I'd like to make teleport or w/e and this information would be very handy ^^. Also if they are client-sided, can somebody share how to find them ?

its clientsided. to find the coords, first launch the game with console enabled, then put in the cvar "d_showpos", it should display your as well as every other Object coords in 3d world. However, what you want is just the format of the string being output. load up ollydbg, attach process, then do a string scan, look for something along the lines of "%0.2d, %0.2d, %0.2d" and it should take you to part of the function that displays the coords. from there you should be able to figure out on your own how to get the X Y Z values ( assuming you know a lil bit of ASM knowledge ).

there's plugins that find all UNICODE and all ASCII strings too, just google for them
