With this message I have some good news that most of you will certainly like.
We have started working into something special just for NosTale, since we like this game and currently we cannot actually find a server who can satisfy our perspective, satisfactions, needs and the official one are pretty much out of question, we decided to work into a new server about this amazing game.
"A new crappy emulator NosTale server? what a news uh? there's already enough of them" - I know what you're thinking right now
Well, that quote is incorrect, let me tell you why: because we are going to re-create from scratch and re-design the whole game, yeah, you did read correctly. We will not be using any sort of emulation, since we're going to build the game up from scratch.There is lot of reasons to why we approached this road, but the main one is certainly the ability to being able to put in the game, everything that come across our head, no joke, really, anything.
"So why you're telling us this nice stuffs?" - I am currently telling you all of this stuff, because we are recruiting new figures in our team. Currently we are only looking for 3D artists/modelling peoples, and we do accept newbies, everyone has to start from a point, so go ahead and send us a nice application letter to
stating why you would join the team and your motivation, and if you attach a CV will slaightly increase your chances to being accepted. Also, feel free to mail me if you need any sort of informations about this opportunity.Anyway, back on the thread now, we didn't set up yet a public domain website or references, so we'll keep updated this thread for further development.
Our main goal at the moment is to have everything basic working, such as:
- Party system
- Guild system
- Instances (dungeons, raids, portals, worlds)
- House system
- Battle core
- PvP core
- Quests
- The above list is just a small peak of what we aim for, there will be lot more than that
Basically, everything which needs an MMORPG game to work smoothly.
We'll be doing our best to improve it and keep it along with the current modern games out there, anyway, once a while we'll be asking the community for what you all think about the stuffs we have in mind and how's developing going, so in the end we'll have a product game enjoyable from most you.
The development will not be realized funds free, there will be costs to approach and maintain it, so in the end we hope you all will like our ideas, and we will come to you with a monetization plan to satisfy everyone and not break the game into pay2win, which personally, I hate so much.
