Hi i have just started my second minecraft server called tekaholic and it is using the new tekkit 2.1.0.
it is a pvp factions server with no rules except one Have fun there is only 2 factions in game,The Techs,and the Iluminati. you must choose one to pledge your allegance to and fight for control of the island.

STORY

in 2005 there was a group called the Techs and they where a peaceful faction and just went about there daily lives farming and expanding there settlements.until one day in early 2011 the Techs found a massive oilwell on one of there settlements and started to build advanced machines.however the Iluminati where not pleased with this and demanded that they share the oil as a resault of this the Tech leader Tartarus
banished the Iluminati and vowed them never to return.in early2012 the Iluminati had grown strong and Waged war on the Techs they have been battling for control of the island since then. The Ilumni have since found small oil deposits and have created machines and weapons of there own and are more than capible of issuing severe blows to the techs.
Who will you join in this great struggle for power and resources?
will you join the Techs and stop the Ilumini from seizing control of the island Or will you Pledge your alegance to the Iluminati and destroy the Techs and seize power?
Join your chosen faction and become a great warrior or become a resource collector.or are you a builder and would rather join and expand the factions base and build settlements.The choice is yours.
Be carefull in a world of uncertainty where it is dog eat dog will you make sure your not stolen from or killed watch your back who can you trust and more to the point who cant you.
RULES:
:One rule Have fun as it is a dog eat dog PVP server we dont enforce rules
like no stealing or no destroying houses its war do what you must.
but however we do ask that you do not greive spawn in anyway.

We use iconomy in our server and you can earn game $ by killing mobs
having $ is important because we have a wide verity of shops avalible to purchase items. also we have a exchange rate for IC coins wich can be traded in for $ at the tech shop near spawn.
