I have tried to install the system freebsd 8.3 on VirtulBox and am having problems when I do the command "portsnap fetch extract" seems to me the error in the following imaguem:

you don't need to install freebsd on virtualbox.

I installed freeBSD on Virtualbox because i want to create my Server Files and understand a little of FreeBSD system.

I did a search and i guess i need to transform FreeBSD as NAT gateway but i need help of someone who understand FreeBSD system.

Are you sure, that you have a connection to the internet with your virtual machine?
Try to change the adapter options you must use your networkcard to connect to the internet, after that you can download the ports.

yes i have a internet connection with virtual machine, and i have try the network card of Microsoft adaptor Loopback, VirtulBox Host-Only Network, NAT and internal network.

gives my the same error on every one.

please help!
