Hey, thank you for your question!
In a few words we've removed the "forced" path through quests on players giving them more freedom instead of always having to follow quests in order to progress or have their equipment.
We've shorten the starting phase where you can easily be exploring by yourself with everything you need to do it in a few minutes.
Of course we always recommend taking a look around the starting city in order to see what each NPC has to offer.
We've also fully revamped equipment, bonuses, balancing, dungeons, drops, refines and more. This revamp now focus more on the "common" playstyle of metin looking for totems and bosses for those important uppitems and utility items where equipment offers different bonuses and advantages instead of the old "more damage versus monster" type of equipment.
Crafting was also changed and adjusted with the introduction of Job Skills (mining, fishing and gathering) where each one has its purpose but all 3 are necessary to progress and upgrade your guild (guild services and passive skills).
EXP is now more difficult although you have more ways to increase received EXP. Certain highly requested utility items were also added almost for free ingame (like anti-exp and teleport item, we know it was a bad decision on our behalf not having from the get go).
Bonuses have 3 steps (different values) instead of only one, enchants have a level limit to be used where the NPC only sells the first 2 giving lower level players an easier time while increasing value for higher level equipment with good bonuses.
We've also added an ingame Wiki with information, details and also a starting/ending guide.
I said a few words right? Oh well. Hope this answers some of your questions.
Regards.
