Because discord is software where you can have multiple things.
For the team staff, it is good because they can publish announcements, alert maintenance, patch notes, previews, support via text or voice.
And for the players it is good because it is a way to make friends, discuss ideas, socialize, get information from players and staff, get a fast support, among other things.

Sodox + it would help on your player numbers too since many people use discord special for metin2 servers

Discord is just super easy to use. I mean sure, the english support is nice, but it's much easier to handle this stuff on Discord. Nobody uses Facebook anymore except old people and my last point is that nobody wants to register in a Forum or for a Newsletter, it's just way too convenient to use Discord, it takes only 1 Click and you're in and you can see everthing, get support, make suggestions, etc...
You should maybe consider it.

Facebook is still really popular in contries like Ro and especially PL. Lot's of players use it outside of germany.
However @  you should really consider Discord since it provides plenty advantages and makes your and the player's life easier.
Feel free to contact me if you consider creating a Discord and need help setting it up.

well iam adding full function subclass ..i've added Martial Artists , Chi Master And Warlock..and i've made sage like each level the magic atk increases and i wrote it like that

Well... i sniffed and structured the packet with success.... but i'm getting a problem... for some reason all the infos are send like this:

Don't bother about the P1 before the subclass it was just a test with the packet offsets...
i'm sending the info with type 7 at offset 4, and StudyPoints at offset 6
