Mabinogi-Making money for new people

I found this guide pretty good but I recommend doing this in all the four towns: Dunbarton, Filla, Qilla Base Camp and Vales.

why not just post the guide here instead of making us go to a different page. i mean all that is told to do is to make holy waters and sell them.

Not even that - it just said to do the PTJ (Part Time Job) in Dunbarton and then sell the Holy water.

A better guide would have been something along the lines of....

Start in evening in Qulla - collect wool
Warp to Dunbarton after midnight - collect eggs, apples and potatoes

Start some of the morning Dunbarton PTJs
At 4pm go to the church and start/complete the PTJ
Warp to Quilla and start/complete the Healers PTJ
Do any Quilla PTJ you feel you can complete before the deadline

Start over to restock what materials you used.

With enough storage space to handle the PTJ materials, no matter what you get assigned, and space to store the Holy Water and other goodies you may receive from the PTJ, you should have no problem with having a decent stock built up in a reasonable time.

A better money maker for more skilled combat oriented players is just select the more lucrative Shadow Missions.

That method works.
The method that I use for horsing cash in mabi involves fishing with a battery of r1 Alts. Although it's slow to catch something of value, you can do it afk and come home to hopefully, 400-500k in salable or npcable materials. And as with any task, tacking on an auto npc macro expedites the process.
