Perma Banned for buying 70-80k gold. UPDATE*

ivbeen buying and selling gold for years. iv bought thousand and iv sold thousands in many games... i would say its less about the amount of money.. though absurd high numbers could trigger something, but more about how the gold sold was made. did they farm it using exploits? cheats? stealing? bots that used unconventional methods... these things no matter the amount can be traced and issue a ban. the vendors taht u buy from could have had one of their suppliers provide gold they got exploiting. resulting in your ban.

Since March I have bought gold exclusively from Alotofgold @ G2G using the mail delivery method. Most I have purchased at a time was 100k when it was super cheap in March, and have purchased about 400k in total. Have not been banned as of today.

I don't have anything on my char that would flag it as a whale though my best gems are t7, and I am only ilvl 1415.

I thought the policy was a 3 day ban, then escalated from there. Looks like the policy changed?

I wanna keep playing the game, but farming suuuuucks.

Anyone else getting banned when they had a 'reasonable' character?

I did get banned but only until january. I'm fine because I didn't wanna play the game anyway since reaper isnt even here.

It was a 3day ban in march/april, then scalated to perma and some of us are only a few months banned.

Because most of us only buy from known 3rd party website like g2g, playerauction, aoeah because they are more accessible and well known. Private seller or any trusted seller hard to find imo.

yes but when u go into g2g u have a lot of sellers which have lower price than some resellers, why people keep buying from them instead of normal players

i assume those big seller never filter where their supply come from.. cuz i was buying gold from direct real player(not bot or illegal cc) and never got ban
