They 0 out your gold if you get caught.
There are a few things you can do. You can either spend it by investing in stuff or buying mats. OR if you want to store raw gold, you can list something at a high price so your deposit is the gold you want to be stored. I can't guarantee but in this thread, someone reported that they didn't touch his mail which he still had 100k gold sitting there.

Can confirm they zero out your gold, which is at least not as bad as the negative gold they do for other regions.

Haven't done any RMTing myself since the March patch that send prices soaring but starting to reconsider. Based on feedback here it seems like getting caught or not is a complete crapshoot. Some people are getting caught with 40k and other avoiding bans with millions. Doesn't sound like mail or AH offers any more protection compared to the other.

Hello, my last gold purchase was at the end of March, do you think I can still be banned? I'm scared to continue making progress on this account, I don't know if I should start a new one. Obviously I'm not going to buy gold outside of the game again.

Buy from a reputable site. Scan through the posts here and notice all banned are buying on g2g. Those are bot farmers. When you buy the cheapest **** in existence of course you will be caught.

I've bought millions on Rpgstash with 0 ban. Will be buying more again today to push my 3rd toon to 1445.

So I bought 150k yesterday and 200k today from g2g. Mail delivery to my main account (cause if I get banned I can finally stop playing and spending money lol). I’ll let you know how it goes.

I sold gold 3 times in a last week, each trade was around 10-15k gold through AH (i bought a gem every time) and i am not banned so far.
I am curious, are they banning sellers too or only buyers?
I am normal player, not using bot, only farming Tier 3 Chaos/Guardian/Abyss with 6 chars and selling some extra gold, so i dont know if that helps.

Both ways, also the seller has always sent multiple mails under 100k, same for gems it’s usually 2 or 3 gems I need to put up to get my total amount. I never buy under 100k at a time

Bought from g2g too multiple times,diffrent sellers, until now no Ban. Wether on mule nor main Account. Last purchase 5/5. Only via mail. It seems to be quite random, if u get caught. There seems to be no automated system in place, atleast not for smaller transactions.

i dont know about buying gold, since a viewer sent max 200-300k gold he got banned and never got unbanned from the support team.
