Play the champions you can play well and those you like much.

As long as they fit the meta it doesn't really matter what you are playing.
And even some uncommon picks (uncommon, not retarded) are viable if you play them well.

I remember the time when Sivir was not played much, before her rework. I was boosting a lot with her, and won obviously. Not because she was OP or something, I just always liked her.

What I'm trying to say is: Don't just copy a LCS player or boosters or something, find your own champion pool and you will have success with it.
