Ever been banned for buying referrals?

I just bought 100 and I'm really nervous.

That's a lie. You can only get banned from the referral system and lose the RP/IP u gained from it.

You do, infact, get banned permanently if you do not contact Riot to lift your ban to 2 weeks. That being said, buying refs always yields a risk no matter what, just depends on how badly you want the rewards. Chances of them catching you aren't too high. If you do manage to lift the ban, you will still be permanently banned from the RAF system and your rewards will be revoked.

It depends on the seller. For example, i orderd a few times at nhc, never got banned, anything removed or something like that, a few friends orderd also at nhc, same with them. One person i know, order at GU4RDIAN1 - banned and rewards removed.

Dont get me wrong, not saying that everybody who orderd at GU4RDIAN1's Service, is going to get banned, but its a fact, that he has the highest banrate out of the big refsellers.


A risk is allways there, as it is with everything in the trading section here (except Skinselling).

I had a ban too and im still banned but only from Refer-a-Friend, not more.
I got 1 Rune Page deleted but no IP or RP were lost.

I was banned permanently, then contacted the support and they decrased it to 2 weeks.
The stuff I bought from the RP and IP was removed and I'm permanently banned from the ref-system.


I bought my refs from GU4RDIAN1 and got banned like a lot of other people.
He said the problem that people get banned is solved, but I still wouldn't buy refs from GU4RDIAN1, there are lots of shops without bans.

The problem with Guardians Service is that he uses a clientless bot, which means only sending data packets without LoL even running. This way, he can do 8k refs a day. It just seems like this bot is predictable or somehow more conspicuous than others.

There is always a risk of getting banned when you buy refs, you always have to think about if it is worth to risk your account for those rewards.

The safest method is buying some Refs on a smurf account and then use the RP to gift something to your main account. This way, your main acc will definetly not get banned.
However, you can not use the IP rewards when doing this.

Only had 100 refs from guardian.

Also I got banned today too but only for 12 Days. O.O
And I purchased last Summer 150 Refs from GUARDIAN.
They sent me a mail and told me that I got banned from the RAF too, I hope they wont take so much from my Acc away, because I bought after the Refs like 75€ RP
And I wanted to buy tomorrow my LAST 25€ for LoL ( iBlitzcrank hrrhrr:3). But now I cant:/

I was banned yesterday, and today i got a email that its for only 2 weeks (without me contacting them). Ooh well, it was on one of my smurf.

Still think its worth the risk tho, u get so much **** from refer a friend

Yes , you've can get banned. Depends!
If you've did your own referrals there's no chance getting ban, but if someone else did them for you.. than you'll get banned (probably). I've got banned long ago for about 200 referrals (did by a purchase from company)!
