$1500 isn't crazy for this account. It has rare skins that you will have a hard time finding on other accounts, and it has a triple digit account ID, so on sites like lolking you will have a link like (this isn't the account) instead of something like , you may not care about that, but some people will.

You know guys, there are some wicked guys out there who are paying huge amounts of money for certain skins. And this account has black alistar. I have seen this skin ONCE in my entire lol career (playing since end of S1) and I bet there are enough guys out there who are willing to pay enough money for it. 1500$ is also way too much for myself, but that's just me, I'm not this rich. But yeah, it's still an option for some other guy ;]
