Not all though, LCGN02 has at this moment 428 accounts logged in of which 199 unique ip's and its 1am on a normal tuesday
I personally don't think it is worth it to create a emulator for a game that has the source code of every era publicly available.
I mean, maybe you can create a better, faster and more efficient version, but do players care about that? They just want to play LC.
I think if you are really interested in creating a emulator i would go to mmorpg.com or something and find a game that can be popular and is just released in closed or open beta.
This way you can really say that you have something unique, and if the game suddenly becomes popular and you have a working emulator for that game without anything other being available then you can make quite some money off it.
