• The server was moved to a new more powerful machine.
• The launcher has changed, so if the old one no longer works for you, download the new one here:

• The snow has stopped falling in Juno. Spring is coming!
• Evasion in evasion 180-182 lvl sets has been increased.
• Genevieve heals immediately, without waiting 30 seconds after you log in.
• The bug related to low HP and MP after relog has been fixed.

• Re-form Seal, with which you will lock the options you have selected and they will not change as you continue to re-form the item has been added. You can buy it in the Item Shop.
• Double-clicking in the shop and trade window moves the entire group of items without asking for the quantity.
• Magic Totems also work on type 2 pets.
• Dungeon management is available on every channel.
• 1 hour version of Guardian's Breath has been added. You can get it by exchanging 6 normal ones at Estella.
• Pure Invisible Pants no longer block the Night Shadow from riding the mount if it is wearing pants.
• Some of the Iris Item Pictorial Book achievements have been fixed.

• You can feed your EXP-collecting pets again.
• Some bugs have been fixed.
• New bugs have been added.
• Item trading has been disabled. Everyone must collect items for themselves.
• Rogue class has been removed.
• A new Royal Knight skill has been added - Five-cut. The knight performs 5 hits in a single attack.
• Rabbit Poops drop from mobs. You can throw them at enemies to slow them down and blind them.
• Night Shadow subclass - Masterminder - have been added. A Night Shadow can choose a subclass at level 90. By default, all existing Night Shadows have the Sower of Death subclass.
• Right clicking in the shop and trade window moves the entire group of items without asking for the quantity. Double-clicking works as before.

• 7 lvl of the Holy Bless skill now requires gold instead of Stones of the Wise.
• Detection of pants when Night Shadow gets on a mount has been improved.
• You can now right-click on an item to move the entire stack to warehouse or guild stash without asking for the quantity.
• Candles buff duration has been extended (from 10 to 20 minutes).
• The rewards from the Gate of Dimension have been changed.
• The bug causing an error when hovering over the item icon in the Item Shop has been fixed.

• Ramslo's Necklace Changing Box has been added. It allows you to replace your necklace from Black Tyrant Ramslo Affinity with another one. You can drop it from Black Tyrant Ramslo (low chance) or buy it in the Item Shop.
• Magnifiers (normal) can only be used to discover options on equipment up to 130 lvl. They have a 100% chance of success.
• The chance of discovering better options on equipment up to 130 lvl has been increased.
• The chance of combining 1-7 lvl jewels has been increased to 100% (except for old type 1-5 lvl jewels).
• The chance of combining 8-10 lvl jewels has been increased to 100% if a Jewel Protection Scroll is used (except for elemental jewels).
• EXP from the [R]Adventures in Guardship quest (144-146 lvl) has been increased.
• EXP from the Suffering Soul, Floating Soul and Parched Soul has been increased.
• The bug causing the removal of "Controlled Shooting" by the Cleric skill "Group Mana Kiss" has been fixed.

  • Controlled Shooting - Magic Rune effect of slowing down the speed of movement has been weakened.
  • Controlled Shooting - duration has been increased.

• The crafting window has been changed.
• The ability to decraft items has been added. It allows you to recover 80% (minimum 1 piece) of the materials needed to make an item. Decrafting is free, but before you can decraft an item, you must first have the skill to craft it.
• Since now, type 2 pets collect all items lying within a 3-meter radius at once.
• Most monsters in Mondshine and Tarian are protective of their species. This means that when you attack one of them, all nearby monsters of that species will rush at you.
• Resetting the equipment at Socket Manager Gorec resets the options to their default values or removes them depending on the type of item.

It's over! Xanthus Global will be closed on August 20. You guys have been great! During these two years of joint activities, we have accomplished many things that were not possible on other servers. We intend to use the experience gained to improve certain aspects of the game. We have prepared an action plan for the coming year. We will inform you about the details soon.
Is this really the end? No, we are coming back full force as Xanthus Ultimate! On August 25, the registration of accounts for the new edition of the server will start, and on September 1 we will provide you with a measureless experience on Xanthus Ultimate.

What can you expect on Xanthus Ultimate?

I don't want to ruin anyones fun, but I personally don't quite get the recent trends of 'Classic' servers with minimal rates and grindy mechanics. Could anyone explain the appeal of such servers? I thought the main appeal of private servers is the fact that you could get stuff, that would otherwise be too grindy on official servers (xp, sp, items...) easier, without spending either your liver or one third of your lifetime.
While I haven't played on the new Xanthus (yet), I played on the competitor's server and Xanthus seems to go a similar route.
This isn't a flaming post, but rather a question to why this is the current trend.

People are requesting Classic servers due to the experience they had in the past. They want to have an equal feeling like back in the days without spending their entire salary for it (in comparism to the official servers then).

I don't think Xanthus isn't that kind of Classic server(s) you were mentioning due to the custom features they did their own good way.

We are such an improved global server. We have many similarities, but with us various aspects of the game are improved and a lot of improvements have been added.

• The land where the player appears after logging in has been changed. From now on, the default land is Old Juno.
  • Added Gate Guardians to inform of danger.
  • Added NPCs to Old Juno - Stefan, Benjamin, Vigil, Shrine.
  • Added informational quest where Eruditus explains the current situation.
• HP and attack of towers on the DCS has been lowered.
• Minimum mob damage is now doubled when the monster is more than 15 levels higher than the character (rather than more than 10 as it was before).
• The chance to drop jewel fragments has been increased. The number of all fragments dropped so far for all players will be increased proportionally (we will send you fragments to the marble statue).
• The mount horse skills have been fixed.
• The power, range and number of targets for the dragon and horse mount skills have been increased.
• The first 2 ignition levels, as well as the passive skills of type 1 pets, work on elementals from now on.
• The effect of attack speed on elementals has been fixed. However, it is limited by a minimum value of 8.
• Increased the chance of dropping items from the rain event.
• Fixed the Owl's Tablet of Condition Recovery.
• Added buffs with higher level to NPC Itana.

• New accessory has been added to the Socket Manager's shop in Old Juno.
• Added the Old Juno scroll to the Geres merchant.
• Fixed the PvP in Akan.
• Lowered the prices of some items in the Item Shop.
• Added daily quests to Akan - you can earn EXP, SP, Meriel Gems, Jewel fragments and buffs for them.
• Added accessory for Night Shadows to the merchant in Alvitar.
• Merchants from castle sieges are now available all the time outside of the battle period.
• Phase 1 of the Merac Castle Siege ends when the Great Pedestal is destroyed.
• The Great Pedestal can be attacked at close range.
• The ability to block the Ignition maximum level has been added.
