Um mal auf das große Thema zu antworten wie sich der Server finanziert bzw wie lange er Online bleiben wird, kann ich nur klar sagen:

Ich mag es solche Projekte zu machen. Man lernt Dinge von denen man vorher keine Ahnung hatte und setzt sich solange damit außeinander bis es funktioniert.
Ich hatte als ich das erste LC Projekt startete 0 Ahnung von dem was ich tue. Habe einen CentOS Server gemietet und dacht er wäre kaputt weil da nur text stande und keine Oberfläche erschien.
Mittlerweile hat sich da einiges geändert.
Ich möchte jetzt auch keine ewig lange Story erzählen. Worauf ich hinaus möchte ist das ich gerne neu Dinge lerne. Klar mache ich das ganze momentan nicht alleine, habe eine gute Unterstützung durch die ich auch viel dazulerne.
Wir versuchen den Spielern (mir auch) Spaß zu bereiten.
Server wird Online bleiben bis zum bitteren Ende (bis keine Spieler mehr da sind). Hoffen natürlich das dies nicht in naher Zukunft der Fall sein wird.
Das ist der Grund wieso ich das alles aus eigener Tasche zahle.
Ich habe auch schon einige Nachrichten bekommen das Leute sehr gerne ein paar Euro für die Kosten mit übernehmen würden (ohne Gegenleistung), habe diese aber dankend abgelehnt. Hätte nicht gedacht das es doch noch so viele dieser Spieler in der LC-Community gibt.

Hoffe somit wäre diese Frage geklärt.

wenn ihr das finanziell verkraftet isses ja gut. keiner kann sich mit $$$ das ganze spiel erkaufen, alle müssen was tun dafür, alle haben die gleichen chancen...tiptop

Hey Leute, stell ich mich besonders dumm an oder geht es bei mir einfach nicht?
Bei mir kommt immer die Meldung
"The dynamic link library 'EntitiesMP.dll' could not be found"
Kann mir evtl jemand weiterhelfen?

Either its corrupted download or your antivirus has deleted the file upon unziping, so first try unpacking again, if not then download the client again

copy the file from other last chaos bin folder, it worked for me.

i keep getting error logs when i try to log in ch 1... every other channel works perfectly !

Edit : got fixed hours ago, ADM did a great job !

I Love to play here and i hope we see more Players - couse this server
deserves it !

i also copied the file from another Last Chaos.. didnt work =(
i open the client, update is loading. i click on start and than the error comes.

Also mittlerweile hält der Server sogar eine konstante Spielerzahl von ~75 Spielern.
Zu den Abendstunden werden es mittlerweile sogar bis zu 110

Er hat Cast geschrieben und nicht Cash.

Was soll denn an dem Castsystem nicht stimmen?^^ Man kommt nach und nach sicher an sein Cast und mit 145 kommst du auf 100%.
