XIM APEX issue

So i just purchased an XIM Apex and im having a hell of a time trying to get it to work. My controller is just not registering at all. I've been at this since 8am and im a little frustrated so bear with me. I have combed these forums with fine tooth comb looking at every little way to fix my issue and nothing seems to work. I have tried multiple cables for my controller. I have tried switching ports. I have watched 5 different set up and trouble shooting videos. I have went through countless posts on these forums trying everything someone is suggesting and i cannot for the life of me get it to work. Do i need a specific cable for my controller? Is there one phenomenally better than others? This is currently what im using.


XIM Apex
Keyboard: Logitech G910 (back lights are turned completely off)
Mouse: Logitech G502
Controller: White Microsoft Xbox one controller (Batteries removed from back)
Wire to controller: Play Gaming Accessories Plug and play kit/4 other random micro usb cables I own used for various purposes.

Any help would be appreciated. Because at the moment i feel like I just purchased a $130 paperweight.

what is your spesific problem?

when you put all 3 cord (Mouse, Keyboard, and Controller) you're not able to move the menu xbox with keyboard?

and you must update the xim apex firmware before you use it.
