It actually would not target any other profession. ill give you more insight on the behaviour that youre observing.
GDW lasts for 20 seconds and recharges in 5... casta one and takes the allymartial, recharges, when its time to cast again, martial is already buffed, so it gets the nearest ally (one of the necros), recharge and do the same (necro2), then it time to cast again, the buff will be gone from the martial ally and it gets into that loop.
it is working as intended, but i see your point, you only want it on martial allies, period.
i think i can add a check on the json file to be strict on the targetting to achieve this.

Thanks. Btw with the last update there's a debug error when the lead crashes/leaves the group causing a bunch of alts to have their game crash.

- Added config tab to Utilities, you can configure your flollowers autonomy on combat remotely.
- relocated Debug options, having debug options active and changing maps will make your clients crash, they are debug options.
- Added specific Target for skills (EnemyMartialMelee, EnemyMartialRanged, AllyMartialMelee, AllyMatialRanged)
- Added option (TargettingStrict) in skill.json file
you can create your party from the Party from the Party setup menu.
you will need to configure in toolbox the following: - Party Settings -> Tick Is a toggle
- Party Settings -> Automatically accept party invitations when ticked.
- Party Settings -> Automatically Accept Party Join requests when ticked
all your followers will set themselves tickedwhen entering an outpost and not being in a party.
Added options to better configure skills on Skills.json.
Added "TargettingStrict": false,
normally, the targetting function will prefer the configured skill target (Enemy Caster ot Ally Martial) if non are found, will target the next bes suitable target.
TargettingStrict option will only chose the specific target the skill has configured are targetting, if none suitable, none will be returned.
this makes possible mantaining skills on sleected targets.
Added New Skill Stargets - EnemyMartialMelee
- EnemyMartialRanged
- AllyMartialMelee
- AllyMatialRanged
enum is like this enum SkillTarget { Enemy, EnemyCaster, EnemyMartial, Ally, AllyCaster, AllyMartial, OtherAlly, DeadAlly, Self, Corpse, Minion, Spirit, Pet, EnemyMartialMelee, EnemyMartialRanged, AllyMartialMelee, AllyMartialRanged };
Old skill.json files should still work, if you want the new version, delete your old file and it will be recreated.
im going to add a file on the project with the instructions required for modifyinf skill.json file.

try the new version, i think most of those crashes should be resolved with the new changes.
this might be closely related to the bug on being out of range.
also, on crashes.. the way the memory functions work is by getting exclusivity on the memory area (mutex) that allows me to read or write to that area without having problems.
if for some reason one of the bots crashes in mid of reading or writing to memory it will retain its mutex forever, the other clients will hang, because they will be waiting on the memory to be available forever.
i can change this to have a timeout, but that woul hide many issues on my part that i like to resolve first.
if a client hangs is because either some memory function is not sanitized or its because im not checking a null value somewhere from the toolbox libraries.
waht does it mean? the bot could crash if you aproach a rare mob with a special tag, or a rare item in the ground, could crash basically for anything that i havent taken into account, that could be a few things or could be a lot of them, ive had few crashed but ive had them, and its really hard to reproduce, there are many things working together.
if you somehow manage a way of reproducing a crash tell me so i can look into it.

Thanks for adding those extra configs and customizations in the new update! However, upon updating to the new version, the combat function of the follow accounts appear to not work any longer. The follow accounts don't use skills or attack, simply follow. However, the lead account combat function works. Not sure if anyone else is experiencing this or has solved it.

There's probably something I miss.
If you don't use strict targeting they should always find a target, if that's the issue, that willmsolve it until I check the code
I'm going to need the builds you're using and if you have special data in them, I'm going to need that also.

BiP could still use some tweaking (can't do it manually in the skills file). since v.15 I'm getting a lot of suicide moments where he casts 4 BiPs in a row.
The crashing doesn't occur anymore

I haven't done any special modifications other than adding GDW to the skills json file and the new configs that were added to only target AllyMartialMelee and set the TargettingStrict to true.
Here are my follower builds;

I will check specially against GDW and make sure it works as you desire it. Are you having troubles with a skill other than GDW?
I do t have melee characters but I'm going to level up a mixed team of melee, Sono cam test this stuff, all melee functions are widely untested by me.
This will take some days tho.
im going to try this build with a HR and a Dervish and see how it goes

You mentioned you used 2 BiPs in party, can you share your builds?
I want to try a energy demanding build and see what happens, the build I use with my accounts is meticulously made for spamming skills and not having much energy problems, and since they are all necros, a single kill will top them, making my BiP like a last resource battery
My BiP is effective, indeed it's hyperactive but my other healers can keep him alive , I haven't had many suicides from him , although I have had suicides.

I don't think it's build specific. In the previous version, I was not having issues with follow accounts attacking or using skills. With the latest version, they now only loot and follow. The config/dropdown has them set to Combat.

alright, yeah, might be some problems with targetting, they dont have who to attack so they dont, ill revise this, but i have to level up some melee chars so i can test, this will take me a few days, for the moment, you can go back to the previous version.
BTW, theres a bug on changing outposts, if you go from outpost to another outpost it will hang.
also if all acounts are in differente outposts ot districts, to prevent this one dont open the party setup tab until all accs are on same district.
ill see if i can squeeze some time to make repairs.

Went back to 1 BiP+Twisting RT+5 mesmers:  .
Since the BiP is the only healer it's a bit problematic for him to suicide

Just a quick question about the skills.json. if I download a new version that has changes...how do I get those changes with my skills.json edits? I edited some skills that were already there as well as added new ones for my mesmer team

yes, since the Ai is very dumb you will need to plan your builds to be over defensive, i usually go everywhere with 3 healers and half the of the toons has some form of defense.
i would change one of the e-surge to be a full dedicated heal.
im also testing an esurge team, mesmers are devastating but they are made of paper, they wil die and die... i need to find a proper build for them that keeps them alive, maybe adding a half healer/ half prot?
i will implement parameters to tweak its behaviour, i think putting a parameter in skills.json can solve that problem so each skill can be tweaked apart.

the only way of doing that would be taking a backup of your file, re creating it and adding manually your changes (you can use notepadd ++ compare tool to make this easier)
i dont think that ill be doing file handling routines, this would have to be the method of updating your own file.
