Question about editing Music Files
Is there a way to bypass the check when you load up the patcher? I tried replacing the music files in the folder to my own music, but the patcher caught it and fixed it all.
Anyone know how?

mine i just renamed my music files but they didn't been caught by the patcher

Rename it, then mark it as Read-Only. Hope I helped.

Introduction:
Before, to play your own music in-game, one must uncompress bgm.mrs, convert your MP3 into OGG, and compress it back. Takes a while right?
With this DLL, you don't have to do any of that! Just place the files onto your GunZ folder, create a folder named "bgm" in the GunZ folder, put your own music files inside the folder, and start game!
The DLL is auto-updating and *SHOULD* work after every IJJI patch.

Well I'd just like to know what people like better packet or csv editing? I'll be the first to post a opinion, its easy to edit csv's if u got the already edited ones like I do, but like it was said in other threads, less lag and less dc's if u edit the packet file......
It's simple to edit csv's tho and make it work for the game, and its alot easier to read considering its seperated by line but some people can't seem to get it to work like how they were told!! so for them packet editing...

Can someone help me find a program to extract all ffxi sound and music files without doing them one at a time? I found a japanese program but it only does one at a time. Or does anyone know of a sound archive online somewhere?
