The perfect star just give you an EXP/GP boost by 35%, so it's pretty good for lvling using SD hack.
As for the usefulness the No limit item is pretty useful too, especially for the ones who is lazy enough to sell ALL the useless item in their inventory :P

Do I tick the option once and it keeps working throughout all of the runs or do I have to tick it over and over again?
