Hi everyone.
Back in April, I upgraded my DMA firmware. But due to an unstable setup/environment, I ended up frequently removing and reinserting the DMA chip into the motherboard. Unfortunately, I think this caused some physical damage to the card. I'm currently waiting on a replacement DMA card to be delivered.
I have a question: I still have the original .bin firmware file that I purchased — would it be okay to flash this onto the new card? Or do I need to purchase the firmware again?
For context, everything was working fine before, and I’ve never been banned or had any issues while using it. I’m totally fine with buying it again if I have to, but since it’s the FACEIT firmware and it cost me around $499 at the time, I’d rather avoid buying it again if it’s not necessary.
If anyone has gone through a similar situation, I’d really appreciate your advice or insight. Thanks in advance!
Additionally, I had previously flashed the FACEIT firmware, but the main anti-cheat I deal with is ACE. It seems like BE doesn’t detect anything even with just the pool firmware. I probably won’t be playing FACEIT anyway.
