ABP: Why ABP?

Hello,
My name is EJ Moreland and I've been the Lead Designer for APB for 3 years. I'd like to take a minute to tell you a few things about the game.

What is APB?

For all who don't know it yet: APB is a constant - online - action game which focuses on the creativity of the player to settle Player vs. Player conflicts. Players quickly get into action-packed third-person battles which are located in an ever-expanding city. In addition, the player has the option to edit almost all objects of his character. These include clothing, vehicles, and music.

I made a blogpost about APB. read it or not, in fact its worth it only because of that one special moment:

You got your three, four, five, whatever mates with you. Youre all enforcers and your observing the crims doin ****. And then that moments come, when everyones whispering (ingame VOIP) 3, 2, 1 - and then screaming GOOO, running, shooting, being part of the whole thing like your mates shouting around stuff like "gimme some backup here" or "that one dude is escaping, where the **** is our wheelman!?"

i paid 50 USD for this moment, and ill pay 10 USD every month for this moment, its so ******* worth it.

i played it for a bit. One part i hated if you aim for the head or you hit the person in the leg it does the same amount of damage....

This was the biggest piece of **** game I have ever played, although I have to say they did a really nice job on the VOIP.

I will say, I played in the beta though. Can't see how they can do nearly enough work before now and release to make it half way decent though.

Like stated above, leg and head shots = same dmg.
