The developers of EVE Online and Dust 514 have opened a new studio which located in Newcastle, United Kingdom. This Studio will work closely with the existing two in Shanghai and Reykjavik on current and future projects.
The focus should be on console developement. Therefore some former employees of the failed Midway Studios in Newcastle have already been hired which had recently worked on The Wheelman and aproject called Necessary Force. However the latter was discarded after the closure of the studio. CCP is currently looking for about ten to twenty new employees.
