Still in January, BioWare the producers of Star Wars: The old Republic claimed that they want to release the game within springtime 2011. Now, one month later the publisher Electronic has specified it a bit more.
In an investor-conference, Electronic Arts CFO Eric Brown explained that Star Wars: The old Republic won't come out in the upcoming business year. This ends on the 31.03.2011, so it's quite sure that earliest release may be in the early days of April 2011.

"We are not assuming that we bring a major new MMO to market in fiscal ‘11. We will continue to increase significant development cost as we prepare this title for launch," so Brown.

Brown positively commented the question of an investor, if the game would justify the high productional costs. In his opinion, BioWares Online-RPG performed in the wide Star Wars Galaxy will cover all the costs and give a huge income.
Quote:
"I think the important point here is you ask that title goes live, and we’re not giving any specific date, we’ll move from a net OpEx investment mode to a highly profitable op-income contributor," Brown weiter.
