After Microsoft has presented a spectacular show at E3, Electronic Arts, needless to say, does want to impress as well. With many well-known titles, for instance, Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare, TITANFALL, Need for Speed: Rivals, Drageon Age 3: Inquisition, FIFA 14 and Battlefield 4 they were also able to provide an impressive show.
The press conference was initiated by a cinematic trailer of special class. Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare was presented in it. Here, it is dealt with a third-person-game, which contains all content of the popular predecessor. But one does not plant any defending plants in order to protect against an imminent Zombie invasion, instead, one assumes the role of a plant, runs around, similar to a shooting game, and tries to beat the enemies. PvZ:GW is going to be released only for XBox One and XBox 360. You can find pictures in our gallery at the end of this article.
The show was continued with a detailed game play of TITANFALL, which could already be seen during the Microsoft conference. Furthermore, a new Need for Speed part was presented, which bears the name Rivals. Hereby, EA realises a completely new idea: One starts a race, being in the singleplayer, and subsequently passes fluently over into a multiplayer race. A movie for NFS is also planned and is said to be released in 2014.
Very detailed analyses in the field of sports were carried out for programming NBALive. The motions were exactly adapted to the clothes in this manner, in order to imitate the reactions of real shirts during a jump. This technique was also used for the new UFC game, in order to display more realistic. So much time was not spent for FIFA 14.
The presentation regarding Battlefield 4 closely resembles the one of Microsoft and so lost its tension.
