this exploit should be possible in all version of sro that use UTF16 to transmit the chat messages.
cSRO uses BIG5 encoded UTF8 to transmit chatmessages.
so you cannot send a combination of invalid UTF16 characters because it would not even convert to the UTF8 string properly.

iSRO got this bug as well some weeks ago, but has already been fixed.
