Trying to (help) find the memory for when it's good to spearfish but man... it is not easy in any way lol

The tool keeps taking off the buff from commercial survival manual that gives 150% exp... tested twice and eventually takes it off after ~5-10 mins.

@ There's no way to automatically bring up the desynth window and begin desynthing your inventory with this. Uminchu can't fish for huge periods of times anyway, so please use /ac desynthesis periodically.

@ I actually found this a while ago, but haven't made the memory reading system for the entity list yet. The data is contained in the entity data for each node as I suspected. It's 1 when you begin, 4 when it's gatherable, and 2 for the remaining idling periods (iirc).

@ Commercial survival manuals last until they give 300,000 xp. If I start to read in buffs some day, I can look at automatically using these as the buff drops, but it cannot do it for now.

See, I thought I found that (I think I found a 3 instead of 4) but then I got weird stuff like 6 when swinging and a 39 at some point lol. I'll give it another look

The location moves around when you go to new nodes or entities are removed from or added to the entity list. You can point directly to it with the currently targeted entity address instead:

+0x30 from there is the name of the targeted entity. Not too far from there is the spear state.

I've just been lazy, sorry. Will get to it.

Nothing to be sorry about, i'm sure everyone looks forward to it when it does come, but until then what you do have is amazing. I personally have just always been interested in doing some of these things myself - and honestly it's refreshing to see that the steps I take are some of the right ones (the very last thing I tried for yesterday was identifying current active target - Almost thought I found it but then it when south. Perhaps trying on DX9 would be easier than DX11).

Thanks for that offset, I'll see what I can do with it as there's other stuff I was interested in trying and that was a pretty key one .

When I run the bot, whether FFXIV is already running or if I start FFXIV while the bot is running, all it says is "Not logged in" even though it's attaching to the correct PID. When I start fishing, it doesn't hook for me or continue to fish for me after I hook it manually. Any ideas?

Can you tell me what versions of OS, DX9/DX11 client, and Uminchu version you're running? Hopefully it's just an update problem. Is there a warning about non-admin mode?

Uminchu 0.216.10.28

Now that you mention it, Uminchu also says "Unable to verify update" in the title bar. I'm not seeing anything about admin mode and I get the same results even if I run as admin.

That message means the exe was downloaded, but when it tried to verify the file checksum it failed. This has happened in the past due to NOD32 blocking off the file, probably because it's an uncommonly downloaded exe from the net.

You can download the latest version from the first post's sendspace's link. Here's the for that zip.

By the way, it won't matter for this issue, but you can check which version of the FFX14 client you are running (either DX9 or DX11) with the config button in the launcher.

In addition to this, when you actually click the Play button on the launcher, it will specify just below Play DX9 or DX11. For anyone else who happens to be curious.

That new download worked, thanks!

I thought you were asking for the DX version I had installed, but the game is running DX11.

Lastly, Is there a way to implement "Release" into the fishing aspect of the bot? I don't think I want to ignore pull strengths altogether since I like getting the exp, but being able to Release certain fish would be nice.

Cuff-a-Cur used to work for me, but now after 20-30min it just stops. I have everything set based on the description and my fps is above 60. I am on dx11; idk if that matters.

I think I tuned it to click faster after each round, probably breaks if you hit some brief lag or something. Will try tuning it back down.

[edit] Okay, I posted an update. Actually, it may have tried to sometimes reclick on the NPC when the reward window still had focus, which would fail. Now it won't do that, and I added back a slight delay anyway. Let me know if it still breaks.

[edit2] Another small update. I think it could have still broken under lag, so I added a check for any script that needs to click on NPCs like Chocobotting, retainer reassign and Cuff-a-Cur. It's now timed based on when our abilities become usable, so even if you hit a semi-long lag spike it will wait a short time after our abilities light up and then try to click. If the lag is extreme (10s+), most of the scripts will still probably auto stop themselves.

hello, nun nach etwas pause hab ich wieder mit wow angefangen und natürlich dem angeln. der bot ist eigentlich suppi, aber es gibt ein problem. so ab 22.00 uhr findet er einfach den köder nicht mehr. hab schon alles probiert mit dem eyedropper, sämtliche farbcodes, hat nix gebracht. nun hab ich mir gedacht mir würde es eigentlich reichen wenn er nur beim splash reagiert und die rute auswirft.
