Okay, I'll look for another solution. This is with admin mode on?
By the way, you'll have to restart both the game and the bot after turning UAC off to check properly, I believe. It also seems like Windows 8+ has difficulties really turning UAC off.
I will build in some conditions like do not try the new method with UAC on/Admin off. If that still doesn't work I'll add in a check for Win8+. The old method can still be used with pausing the bot while holding modifier keys down, so I'll add that back in.

A new version was put to the auto updater. Can you please try it @  ? It should detect UAC on state and send using the modifier delayed method. Otherwise it will send with a more direct method that can ignore mod keys.

Looks like skip cutscenes erroneously triggers when hiding the UI. There's also a few more conditions I want to disable the scripts on. Gonna take a break for a bit though. Let me know if there's any pressing issues or other suggestions.

can't get collectables to work in the latest update, just sits on the "do you want to catch as a collectable" menu after landing. just a heads up, might just be me tho. thanks so much for working on this!

Thanks for the report. Can you update to 03.26 and change the [Settings] variable OptDebug=1? A window will pop up that should have a bunch of UI elements and their addresses. Can you show me what it looks like, or is it just blank for you?
Do other UI automation tasks work for you, like auto turnins?
I know it's a bad solution but you can also try launching in the different DX version than what you're currently using until we can figure it out.

i'll msg u a screenshot of it. i haven't tried turnins, but auto-desynth kinda works? it clicks thru menus but doesn't continue after one item. just exits the success menu popup and clicks confirm after i select the next item.
don't have time rn but i'll try dx11 later tn

Okay, since the UI is being read properly, it seems this must be an issue with the keybinds. Please make sure all the bindings are the same in the bot and the game. Especially display subcommands, cursor up, cursor right, confirm and cancel. Check the main post for a picture of where those are.

Not that crazy about the new features as I'm one of the 1% that watches cutscenes and reads dialogues. =P
At the retainer for instance, even though I don't want it to, it skips through the dialogue box and straight to the retainer menu. This is after trying to auto desynthesis which doesn't seem to work well (plus I'm scared of it desynthing something that I don't want it to based on the description, I'd rather it just finish stacks of the same item and stop.)
Auto gather doesn't seem to work as described, maybe I'm not getting it, but didn't notice any change at all.
Editing via ini file is meh. Please add settings to the main window for these options somehow. Thanks!
That said, most of these aren't really directly fishing-related and could maybe be a separate bot. It's not that they're bad features; I just prefer to bot only the most tedious of things, which to me is fishing. =P

it was the Display Subcommands keybind; i had it unbound! i guess i must have used it as a push-to-talk key years ago or something! shoulda checked that, thanks for being patient ^^;

Thanks for the feedback. I understand not all of these scripts are fully polished nor are they for everyone. Sorry about the lack of UI settings, they'll eventually be added. I was eager to share what I had been working on for a while before I got busy again. Once they are switched off, they shouldn't interfere with any previous bot functionality.
Skipping the retainer dialog is just the thing I had in mind for dialog. It messes with your muscle memory a bit if you're used to skipping it right away I know. If you want to read even that box, I'm sure this feature is not for you. :D
Desynth works very well for me with almost no odd button presses. If it's doing something strange, make sure sprint is on one of your first few bars. There's currently a bug in the way I read skill ready states that will mess up gathering/desynth when you have certain general commands like Stance or Sheath/Draw weapon on a bar before sprint. I will fix this the next chance I get.
The bot doesn't know how to check the confirm rare item desynth box, so it should not be able to proceed once it encounters these items or 0% chance items. If your desynth junk is segregated by an item like this, it will stop there. This is the way I personally use the desynth feature. I just make sure it will hit one of those items to stop it. Usually an item sort and zero or one item swaps will have it set up in this way for me, but unfortunately if you have a lot of different items in your inventory all the time my simple approach might not be ideal.
Whenever possible, I want to piggyback off the game's UI rather than rebuilding my own, so this is my thinking behind the current setup. I like your idea, so I will try to add a version of desynth to halt when a new item type is under the cursor. That way you can desynth a bunch of Elm Pattens or whatever even for items that don't stack but you will have a bunch of.
I'd like to get it working without issue for you if you are interested in this feature, so please let me know if it's not working as I describe.
Auto gather is very basic right now. It will simply keep pressing confirm for you once you gather one item. It will stop once the gather window closes or loses focus. Be careful on timed nodes. If it's mashing the button or never pressing it, it's probably a problem reading the sprint ready state described earlier. In the far future, I am think of adding navigation for real gathering support.
I plan to add more of these somewhat imperfect but sometimes handy automations in the future, and I will work to make the current ones more sane. I plan to add fairly dumb but good enough chocobo racing, mini games and maybe mini cactpot automation (per  ). Again they should be no more intrusive than unchecking a box once we have a UI for it.

Oh I'm totally down with unintrusive automation, as long as it works as intended and doesn't screw up more than it helps. I just don't think it's right for a 'fishing bot'....unless you start advertising Uminchu as just an automation bot versus a fishing one. People CAN run more than one bot you know, no reason to shove them all into one package. No reason not to either I suppose, other than the naming issue.
Yes, even that one retainer dialogue, I don't want to skip (I like my retainer personalities)....and it was skipping it anyway even though I had the settings turned off. I don't care that the bot can skip it, I care that when I turn it off, it doesn't turn off. That's my bug report/complaint. =P
For gathering, what do you mean by confirm? I click on copper ore, I gather one ore, and then nothing happens, just like when I'm not running the bot. If you're specifically referring to collectible gathering or something, you should say so. =P I dislike collectible gathering so when I need collectibles I just fish instead, thanks to what the bot already does lol.
I thought when I picked what I wanted, like adamantite ore, it would keep mining the same slot in the gather window until it closes, and save my finger the click-spam. Is that not what it does?

hello,
nun nach etwas pause hab ich wieder mit wow angefangen und natürlich dem angeln.
der bot ist eigentlich suppi, aber es gibt ein problem.
so ab 22.00 uhr findet er einfach den köder nicht mehr.
hab schon alles probiert mit dem eyedropper, sämtliche farbcodes,
hat nix gebracht.
nun hab ich mir gedacht mir würde es eigentlich reichen wenn er nur beim splash reagiert und die rute auswirft.
