Depends if he got signature scanning working for all values (was a work in progress much earlier in this thread, I think page 1). Sig scan updates happen pretty much instantly; took me 1-2 seconds to get new offsets 
Anyhow his bot is free utility so it's understandable he isn't chomping at the bit to update every time a patch hits. I'm sure he will post here as soon as he gets around to updating it if he is still maintaining it.

The problem is that the offsets changed. Just be patient... everyone knows what the problem is, its just a matter of the author with access to the source code fixing it. Repeatedly bumping this thread won't get it fixed any faster.

I've "reverse engineered" it in a way. I just need to find the offsets now. I wrote a fishing bot for FFXI, but this is my first attempt to do anything similar in FFXIV, and unless you know the signatures to scan for, it's a long and tedious process.
If anybody feels like giving me some direction on finding the right offsets, I could probably have this thing working in a couple of days.

Not sure, why I cannot get this to work where as Basa Bots works fine. However, with this bot after casting the line, it tries two more times followed by failing.

Yeah, it hasn't been updated since the 2.51 patch. I'm not the original author, but I'm trying to basically rewrite this bot. The logic for it is easy, the problem is finding the offsets. I don't have a whole lot of time to dump into it, so it's taking me a while.

Oh, I've found the fishing offsets. It fishes!  Right now I'm trying to find the other ones this bot needs to function, such as weather, time, trying to figure out how to tell if I can mooch, and light/medium/heavy tug.
I found several different values in the player struct that only change while fishing, but I have not, as of yet, been able to decipher them all.
Like I said, it's along and tedious process doing it the first time, and I only have about three hours a week to put into it.
Without help, I'll be lucky to have this thing done before the expansion...
