Gil making after 1.19

Hi Guys ,

as all know, SE has cut down the most gil makers with the patch 1.19.
Since we cant produce masses of oils now, what are you doing to get the gil income flowing.

The Reason i made this topic is to get a list of what we can do, so if SE nerves the new ways too (if there are any) we all can get the max out of it until it´s nerved again.

Yeah it's pretty bad, a lot of the recipes I planned on leveling up off of have had their selling prices cut. Leather vamps use to make pretty good gil, and I made 15 stacks of leather to turn into vamps prior to patch. Before they sold for 21k per stack, now they sell for 2k per stack. I can't even recoup shard costs when I make all my own shards, much less the 3-8k I spent per hide.

1.19 has me feeling very apathetic about crafting.

if u wanna make gil make generic level 41-50 gear like tarred leather belts people will pay like 50k and youll sell many an hour, i bought 3 today myself

just watch which gear people are buying to convert to materia and make 20-30 and keep stocked up in retainer

what about levelling leatherworking 46-50 post patch? Anyone got any ideas if there's any cost-effective recipe to do this? Or just have to use the old stuff?

these were added to give you good exp as 50 so starting them at 43 is doable. just got to farm lots of boar leather. Good news, every piece is selling for 100k+

btw, i am making any weapon/armor i can, red haubys are 400k+ on my server and selling 4 a night.
But i got carp/weaver/blacksmith/armorer to 50. leaver 42, gold 38.

I sold 30 mil in gear in 2 days, its really easy to make gil atm

whatever has the highest profit margin... some things that require the same materials are in high demand and will go out the door at a higher price than other items with even more expensive/difficult materials; it isn't any specific set of items... mostly the new gear, but people want old gear to convert also

ok, so im sitting on 40M gil right now wondering if I should even bother to make more at this point or just focus on leveling classes - what do you all think?

any of you take advantage of the PL period ? and any more gil making ideas ? if you have a group you can make 40m a night for the group

breaking down dated tarred v belts give Savage Might and that on my server is 2 mil for the grade 3
but if you really want to make the gil,

to see what changes into what, then go out in all the right gear for a 100k exp at a strong hold. break it all down and sell it.

wind shards are selling like ******* candy, i cant even keep up with all the demand. 160k a stack is nice when you are selling 10+ stacks a day. Fish malm kelp (for lightning) and then tiger cods(turn lightning into wind) for a fast fortune. I just have my bots going all day, one does the fishing and one breaks down all the fish with alc. it would be just as easy to do this with 1 character. Now @ 45Million gil, all my gear is double materia'd and I have nothing to buy~~. I considered leveling other crafts, however its ultimately pointless since I am making a killing with ALC/FSH. I can get anything I want crafted and materiad by offering very generous tips - people are peasants!!!

I guess the prices in general are a bit lower on my server.

The shards sell for less and the grade IV savage might is about half that price you mentioned, XIVhelper.

Oh well, I guess in the end that means I don't have to gather as much gil to be well off.

true, and faster but at a little loss is cod are sold in LL for like 63 gil.
So even buying 3333 lighting shards and 9999 tiger cod, you are still making 3 times your money back at lvl 1 alch.
