Have you tried going through a manual fish?
Do you happen to have UAC enabled?

I did go through one but maybe it wasn't long enough. I did it again today and the bot is working now. Though it still isn't very smart about "The fish is taking line" / "You take some line"

Also I want to point out maybe in the future to consider that all fish in this game has an exact jig position. Therefore in certain bodies of water, some positions are completely pointless to fish at. Maybe there is a way to take those favored jig positions into consideration, so the bot doesn't jig at say position 4 when there arent any fish there.

ok i just checked and he correctly equips the new bait sometimes but doesn't resume fishing again. other times he doesnt equip the bait at all and just stands there. Also, the first jig position is almost never in the center. If I initially try to fish without any bait, the bot will take me out of fishing mode and the Green X turns to a red X and the bot stops completely. hope this helps. was using 64 bit version C

Do you see any text in the bot edit window. It should be displaying your chat log in v1.0c

I will prob switch to macros for changing bait. It is a pain to send quotes with autoit.

yes its probably easier to just set your alt+1 macro to /equip pack "bait" and have it spam that. you could possibly have it cycle through baits if 1 runs out by having more than 1 line like this
/equip pack "lugworm"
/equip pack "crab ball"
I think it will select the bottom one first by default and move up the list if there are none at the bottom.
the hard part will probably be getting your character to stop fishing, equip bait and then start fishing again. I was looking for macros that would make ur character start fishing, but couldnt find any and it seems it needs to be scripted.

Yes it did display all the text from my chat log just fine. But for whatever reason it didn't fish last night when I tried for the first time.

haha, people keep reporting me for 'standing' near the water for long periods of time....

I left my toon by the water all night, no bot running, and I had quite a few whispers.

well i didn't leave my toon over night :P

I wanted to make sure the bot would help me get the right fish before I left it. But it wouldn't fish then. Gathering fatigue is pretty limited so fishing useless **** isn't exactly a good use of it. But for whatever reason your 5.4i especially has a high tendency to hit position 1 for me which is also the jig position for my favorite fish.

I just finished a revamp of the bot. I am just working out the depth and it will be set to upload. This version allows the user to configure quite a bit and quite easily. It includes bait change macros config, jig timer config, detection prevention, depth config which allows you to set 5 seperate depth at which the bot will cycle through.

It has a better navigator than the last code, I believe anyways ^^

Once I am done i will upload it.

Anyone interested in an option to stop traffic in/out of your pc if detection prevention = true?

It would simply cmd.exe - ipconfig /release all

That's it, and it would close ffxiv window as well.

IDK just an idea?

I must say I like the old interface from the shadow13ot much better, I don't understand your new menus, do I have to go back to save? I can't get it to work all I get is a error msg saying 1...Older is easier to understand because the UI is alot simpler Thanks for the hard work though.

This UI is by far the simplest. I made it easier for the user to access the config, so they never have to touch the INI. How is that not simple? You do not really have to change anything if you do not want to. Just simply select fish bot and start, but make sure you have the fish widget up because your hotkey will not be set.

Would anyone want this option?

just an option to close the game down would be cool - i think turning off the internet completely is probably not necessary.

definitely an option if anything at all. but that could be a slippery slope - for example, what would activate a shut down? its hard to enumerate all the possible scenarios. honestly, i would just keep things simple and just make a log that records any tells that you received while botting. Or perhaps just some auto reply message that will only reply once to a given person (so that if someone keeps sending you tells and you keep responding with the same message, it will be obvious that you are botting)
